This paper describes a rule-based layout scoring tool that ingests Gerber files and a netlist, extracts geometric features related to emission risk, and outputs a numerical score and flagged violation list. Seventeen rules were derived from simulation studies and published guidelines, covering trace-to-plane spacing, clock trace routing distance from board edge, decoupling capacitor placement relative to device power pins, and via stub length. The tool was implemented in Python using open-source Gerber parsing libraries. Validation was performed by scoring 23 PCB designs of known emission performance; boards that failed CISPR 22 Class B measurements scored below the threshold in 19 out of 23 cases (83% sensitivity). False-positive rate was 22%. Run time for a 20-layer board with 4000 components averaged 38 seconds. The tool is intended as an early design gate rather than a replacement for simulation or pre-compliance measurement.","excerptSha256":"db761f528918d4285bb3eeb9356c317c9bc4727380469b80a4fd117a8ae8bb25","id":"ev-0d07b731ba68bc5a58433d02b4fbca4f95f6350e82089d127b682cd182083097","recordSha256":"c4b1bac346b34f1b419f7e0148ed0a07071b4c01574990373161061ceaa501ab","source":{"derivedRecordId":false,"fieldPointer":"/abstract","file":"data/publications.jsonl","locator":{"format":"jsonl","line1Based":7261},"recordId":"SYN-PUB-07261"},"sourceFileSha256":"25d8be510899a943cbed484ae7b7587ca81d538bbe736eff065e928b3b3c0019"},{"canonicalizationVersion":"node-stable-json-v1","datasetCommit":"4fb99b3749adf0d10b5977089ff4c73f4f522240","excerpt":"R0637","excerptSha256":"07a0c506f16b171b134fafdbafced8090d5c8eefd49d9803fb48953f6bd0cbec","id":"ev-942f7e3d9f9dcfe0c1109937e295b73540a4c2118d2c6ce5b675ba2b1c88fb0c","recordSha256":"c4b1bac346b34f1b419f7e0148ed0a07071b4c01574990373161061ceaa501ab","source":{"derivedRecordId":false,"fieldPointer":"/authors/3/researcher_id","file":"data/publications.jsonl","locator":{"format":"jsonl","line1Based":7261},"recordId":"SYN-PUB-07261"},"sourceFileSha256":"25d8be510899a943cbed484ae7b7587ca81d538bbe736eff065e928b3b3c0019"},{"canonicalizationVersion":"node-stable-json-v1","datasetCommit":"4fb99b3749adf0d10b5977089ff4c73f4f522240","excerpt":"[\"PCB layout\",\"EMC rule checker\",\"Gerber\",\"automated review\",\"emission prediction\"]","excerptSha256":"345909602292e04bb015ba37f06520d3adc4dc5a7eae6c4a41eff700c23ee3e3","id":"ev-6fa4de4689a1c168165e9008e9dfac92a067c28d6397c69c5f1dd9d180dfcfe5","recordSha256":"c4b1bac346b34f1b419f7e0148ed0a07071b4c01574990373161061ceaa501ab","source":{"derivedRecordId":false,"fieldPointer":"/keywords","file":"data/publications.jsonl","locator":{"format":"jsonl","line1Based":7261},"recordId":"SYN-PUB-07261"},"sourceFileSha256":"25d8be510899a943cbed484ae7b7587ca81d538bbe736eff065e928b3b3c0019"},{"canonicalizationVersion":"node-stable-json-v1","datasetCommit":"4fb99b3749adf0d10b5977089ff4c73f4f522240","excerpt":"This paper describes an integrated pre-compliance workflow for mixed-signal PCB development that combines three techniques used sequentially across the design cycle. In the early layout phase, an automated rule-checking tool flags geometric violations associated with known emission risks. At the prototype stage, near-field scanning at 3 mm standoff generates spatial emission maps that identify dominant radiating structures. Finally, FDTD simulation using geometry extracted from the identified hotspots provides frequency-resolved quantification and supports what-if analysis of corrective measures. The workflow was applied to four prototype boards developed in collaboration with two regional electronics companies. Across all four boards, the integrated workflow identified the dominant emission source correctly in each case; corrective measures applied on the basis of simulation results reduced the peak radiated emission at the pre-compliance test receiver by between 5.2 dB and 11.7 dB before formal OATS measurement. Time-to-compliance for the four designs averaged 2.1 fewer test-and-rework cycles compared to a historical baseline of designs developed without structured pre-compliance analysis. The workflow documentation and rule-checker code are deposited in an open repository.","excerptSha256":"0416f72e6e3e057038d50453d28d8b499d192ab01b7b3b8ea3971cb70d5d618f","id":"ev-47e7a550e5d40d527ada7e62dbb8e6a527a1b9c0b7cde4716a7edbd27e38ce77","recordSha256":"c41ae937de69876df865f637c79f076f2f238ffe06c34bbe73a3d415a91da6df","source":{"derivedRecordId":false,"fieldPointer":"/abstract","file":"data/publications.jsonl","locator":{"format":"jsonl","line1Based":1515},"recordId":"SYN-PUB-01515"},"sourceFileSha256":"25d8be510899a943cbed484ae7b7587ca81d538bbe736eff065e928b3b3c0019"},{"canonicalizationVersion":"node-stable-json-v1","datasetCommit":"4fb99b3749adf0d10b5977089ff4c73f4f522240","excerpt":"R0637","excerptSha256":"07a0c506f16b171b134fafdbafced8090d5c8eefd49d9803fb48953f6bd0cbec","id":"ev-fba5ebd9abfd4fc8aa8bd7627df2aae89331c6eca2d7956c8891d7777e5f4452","recordSha256":"c41ae937de69876df865f637c79f076f2f238ffe06c34bbe73a3d415a91da6df","source":{"derivedRecordId":false,"fieldPointer":"/authors/0/researcher_id","file":"data/publications.jsonl","locator":{"format":"jsonl","line1Based":1515},"recordId":"SYN-PUB-01515"},"sourceFileSha256":"25d8be510899a943cbed484ae7b7587ca81d538bbe736eff065e928b3b3c0019"},{"canonicalizationVersion":"node-stable-json-v1","datasetCommit":"4fb99b3749adf0d10b5977089ff4c73f4f522240","excerpt":"[\"electromagnetic compatibility\",\"printed circuit board radiation\",\"signal integrity\",\"pre-compliance EMI\",\"FDTD modelling\",\"mixed-signal design\",\"near-field scanning\",\"power delivery network\",\"conducted emissions\",\"return path discontinuity\"]","excerptSha256":"64411fb61821b4101ea0d139c4081f436e8ee4245c730fcd64d596e464e5d19c","id":"ev-ed9c681f50ded7b0245cbcf69ae6a2256740b55551a8a9a24a76f25630a4dfb8","recordSha256":"78412652c15931dadde30020e659e65217dbdbac6b233bde0f97ffe9a3f86490","source":{"derivedRecordId":false,"fieldPointer":"/keywords","file":"data/researchers.json","locator":{"format":"json","jsonPointer":"/researchers/636"},"recordId":"R0637"},"sourceFileSha256":"00de62344d92b6c41c8b67c7e39b1cd8db5553d4050f4c4e92df89ea172dde40"},{"canonicalizationVersion":"node-stable-json-v1","datasetCommit":"4fb99b3749adf0d10b5977089ff4c73f4f522240","excerpt":"R0637","excerptSha256":"07a0c506f16b171b134fafdbafced8090d5c8eefd49d9803fb48953f6bd0cbec","id":"ev-962c6a7ebc79bd1606415f04574b557addb38fd722b45544fa3bca7886e900c1","recordSha256":"78412652c15931dadde30020e659e65217dbdbac6b233bde0f97ffe9a3f86490","source":{"derivedRecordId":false,"fieldPointer":"/id","file":"data/researchers.json","locator":{"format":"json","jsonPointer":"/researchers/636"},"recordId":"R0637"},"sourceFileSha256":"00de62344d92b6c41c8b67c7e39b1cd8db5553d4050f4c4e92df89ea172dde40"},{"canonicalizationVersion":"node-stable-json-v1","datasetCommit":"4fb99b3749adf0d10b5977089ff4c73f4f522240","excerpt":"Power delivery network (PDN) impedance management in mixed-signal boards is examined through a combined measurement and simulation campaign. A test vehicle carrying an FPGA and two 12-bit ADC devices was designed with three decoupling capacitor placement strategies: bulk capacitors only, distributed 100 nF ceramic capacitors at 5 mm spacing, and a co-planar interdigitated capacitance structure formed by alternating power and ground copper pours. PDN impedance was measured from 100 kHz to 1 GHz using a one-port shunt method with a vector network analyser. Simultaneously, conducted noise on the 3.3 V rail was recorded with a 1 GHz oscilloscope probe during switching activity driven by a test pattern generator. The distributed ceramic strategy reduced peak PDN impedance from 840 mΩ to 210 mΩ at 480 MHz. Radiated emissions pre-compliance scans at 3 m confirmed a corresponding 4.8 dB reduction in broadband noise floor between 400 and 600 MHz. A compact circuit model of the PDN, fitted to measurement data, reproduces impedance to within 8% across the full bandwidth.","excerptSha256":"1867e365fef1da3baced7c896bcf0368e3f802a8c56ef54f12e8de2029d24721","id":"ev-0d978b4c3a4369c08f18aef1378ccdfc622bcda76a776712a82043a34089cb07","recordSha256":"fa23a89967ffd42d5c50ccd7e1fadf81b8fd8ce82f4f2a9d2e47273fbd6bf1f3","source":{"derivedRecordId":false,"fieldPointer":"/abstract","file":"data/publications.jsonl","locator":{"format":"jsonl","line1Based":7040},"recordId":"SYN-PUB-07040"},"sourceFileSha256":"25d8be510899a943cbed484ae7b7587ca81d538bbe736eff065e928b3b3c0019"},{"canonicalizationVersion":"node-stable-json-v1","datasetCommit":"4fb99b3749adf0d10b5977089ff4c73f4f522240","excerpt":"R0637","excerptSha256":"07a0c506f16b171b134fafdbafced8090d5c8eefd49d9803fb48953f6bd0cbec","id":"ev-3e4de8db8cd55ba4b296c94a49fd1d66ee8bd6ceaf940a48defc198eaf94c3f4","recordSha256":"fa23a89967ffd42d5c50ccd7e1fadf81b8fd8ce82f4f2a9d2e47273fbd6bf1f3","source":{"derivedRecordId":false,"fieldPointer":"/authors/0/researcher_id","file":"data/publications.jsonl","locator":{"format":"jsonl","line1Based":7040},"recordId":"SYN-PUB-07040"},"sourceFileSha256":"25d8be510899a943cbed484ae7b7587ca81d538bbe736eff065e928b3b3c0019"},{"canonicalizationVersion":"node-stable-json-v1","datasetCommit":"4fb99b3749adf0d10b5977089ff4c73f4f522240","excerpt":"This paper investigates whether automated near-field scan data acquired at 3 mm standoff can reliably predict far-field radiated emission rankings before a product undergoes formal OATS testing. Seven commercial-grade consumer electronics boards were scanned on a 150 mm × 150 mm grid with 2 mm step resolution at frequencies from 30 MHz to 1 GHz. Far-field transformation was applied using a planar near-to-far-field algorithm. Results were compared against 3 m OATS measurements performed at an accredited external laboratory. Rank-ordering agreement between pre-compliance near-field predictions and OATS results was 85% at the frequency of maximum emission for each board. Absolute amplitude agreement was within ±4.5 dB in 74% of cases, degrading to ±9 dB at frequencies above 700 MHz where enclosure resonances are significant. The findings suggest the methodology is reliable for early design triage but not as a substitute for final certification. Practical recommendations for scan grid density and probe calibration are provided.","excerptSha256":"386d86d68e0c0cc5efaec868f6b0f436b3c0851beb49396ea963d7b73fa4da1b","id":"ev-b01cc2ecd6f0db85d2f8b8c9e6df8e5d1a2be4cf69f2df46513c2a5ee52fdab8","recordSha256":"a3205b80317661a82b4b62a390b765a075996524e76c81a3cead9b9d8ffbdae4","source":{"derivedRecordId":false,"fieldPointer":"/abstract","file":"data/publications.jsonl","locator":{"format":"jsonl","line1Based":7041},"recordId":"SYN-PUB-07041"},"sourceFileSha256":"25d8be510899a943cbed484ae7b7587ca81d538bbe736eff065e928b3b3c0019"},{"canonicalizationVersion":"node-stable-json-v1","datasetCommit":"4fb99b3749adf0d10b5977089ff4c73f4f522240","excerpt":"R0637","excerptSha256":"07a0c506f16b171b134fafdbafced8090d5c8eefd49d9803fb48953f6bd0cbec","id":"ev-502aa568c315b42bbd6ba69ff9dd7c68687946c2c1d961eb656a8ed6cae9a29d","recordSha256":"a3205b80317661a82b4b62a390b765a075996524e76c81a3cead9b9d8ffbdae4","source":{"derivedRecordId":false,"fieldPointer":"/authors/0/researcher_id","file":"data/publications.jsonl","locator":{"format":"jsonl","line1Based":7041},"recordId":"SYN-PUB-07041"},"sourceFileSha256":"25d8be510899a943cbed484ae7b7587ca81d538bbe736eff065e928b3b3c0019"},{"canonicalizationVersion":"node-stable-json-v1","datasetCommit":"4fb99b3749adf0d10b5977089ff4c73f4f522240","excerpt":"Radiated Emission Sensitivity to PCB Stack-Up Parameters in Eight-Layer High-Speed Digital Designs","excerptSha256":"a1e803d04bf3bb7145e2c55f2a0ae48cdc8df4ad554a07b666f4cb9a2ff1ce65","id":"ev-bec873d68cc543bb8a8ce487db7bd8db85c972340e1eedb378406ee5a3573316","recordSha256":"477b1f3e5f67792f13db2761927d591ee967892a1ead91f2a9501679c1ec66a3","source":{"derivedRecordId":false,"fieldPointer":"/title","file":"data/publications.jsonl","locator":{"format":"jsonl","line1Based":2360},"recordId":"SYN-PUB-02360"},"sourceFileSha256":"25d8be510899a943cbed484ae7b7587ca81d538bbe736eff065e928b3b3c0019"},{"canonicalizationVersion":"node-stable-json-v1","datasetCommit":"4fb99b3749adf0d10b5977089ff4c73f4f522240","excerpt":"R0637","excerptSha256":"07a0c506f16b171b134fafdbafced8090d5c8eefd49d9803fb48953f6bd0cbec","id":"ev-58bec619a3e804ebb05cabd0717fbfd6aa7c47e50e49ba3fa3da9bd5a1dd34bc","recordSha256":"477b1f3e5f67792f13db2761927d591ee967892a1ead91f2a9501679c1ec66a3","source":{"derivedRecordId":false,"fieldPointer":"/authors/1/researcher_id","file":"data/publications.jsonl","locator":{"format":"jsonl","line1Based":2360},"recordId":"SYN-PUB-02360"},"sourceFileSha256":"25d8be510899a943cbed484ae7b7587ca81d538bbe736eff065e928b3b3c0019"},{"canonicalizationVersion":"node-stable-json-v1","datasetCommit":"4fb99b3749adf0d10b5977089ff4c73f4f522240","excerpt":"The project developed and validated a structured pre-compliance methodology for predicting radiated and conducted electromagnetic emissions from mixed-signal PCBs before formal certification testing. The fitted models were embedded in a SPICE simulation of a full input filter topology and validated against conducted emission measurements using a LISN. Key findings: chokes with ferrite cores exhibited a self-resonance artefact near 3 MHz that produced an emission peak rather than suppression; nanocrystalline core variants maintained greater than 40 dB insertion loss between 1 MHz and 30 MHz under full bias. Without bridging, a 1 mm moat increased the peak radiated electric field at CISPR class B limits by 7.4 dB at the third harmonic (600 MHz). A single bridging capacitor reduced the excess to 1.8 dB. These results are mapped onto a simple analytical expression involving crossing current, moat length, and frequency, allowing designers to estimate the penalty before committing to layout. Limitations of the analytical approximation above 800 MHz are discussed.","excerptSha256":"a6f223af4eb5b4d3a02175c0fce3ef3399de8276974a33ae765b4ca87874cd93","id":"ev-670202703a8dd70bdc60b72719c4a0fb3a434410fe82800498213a97efe22fdb","recordSha256":"92dde7ce1f0b3b699a35f25f09cbb81f95d2db1909b53554c811168daadad6db","source":{"derivedRecordId":false,"fieldPointer":"/abstract","file":"data/publications.jsonl","locator":{"format":"jsonl","line1Based":7257},"recordId":"SYN-PUB-07257"},"sourceFileSha256":"25d8be510899a943cbed484ae7b7587ca81d538bbe736eff065e928b3b3c0019"},{"canonicalizationVersion":"node-stable-json-v1","datasetCommit":"4fb99b3749adf0d10b5977089ff4c73f4f522240","excerpt":"R0637","excerptSha256":"07a0c506f16b171b134fafdbafced8090d5c8eefd49d9803fb48953f6bd0cbec","id":"ev-79d87bf0b48f4f5123cf76daa0664f797002c6d0a68a4c13dd09287687210c42","recordSha256":"92dde7ce1f0b3b699a35f25f09cbb81f95d2db1909b53554c811168daadad6db","source":{"derivedRecordId":false,"fieldPointer":"/authors/0/researcher_id","file":"data/publications.jsonl","locator":{"format":"jsonl","line1Based":7257},"recordId":"SYN-PUB-07257"},"sourceFileSha256":"25d8be510899a943cbed484ae7b7587ca81d538bbe736eff065e928b3b3c0019"},{"canonicalizationVersion":"node-stable-json-v1","datasetCommit":"4fb99b3749adf0d10b5977089ff4c73f4f522240","excerpt":"Dijana Radulović received her Dipl.-Ing. and M.Sc. degrees in Electrical Engineering from the Faculty of Technical Sciences, University of Novi Sad, in 2004 and 2008 respectively, and her Ph.D. from the same institution in 2013. This paper documents a structured compliance assessment of fifteen commercial and prototype LoRa end-node designs tested for radiated emissions, radiated immunity, and conducted disturbances. Testing was conducted in a semi-anechoic chamber accredited to EN ISO/IEC 17025. Nine of fifteen devices exhibited radiated emissions exceeding the limit in the range 500–1000 MHz under worst-case payload and spreading factor combinations. A correlation between PCB layout quality metrics—specifically, return current path continuity and decoupling capacitor placement—and margin to the emission limit was observed. Immunity tests at 3 V/m field strength revealed functional degradation in four devices manifested as packet loss rates exceeding 10 %. The paper discusses how LoRa duty cycle restrictions interact with the quasi-peak detector integration time specified in the standard, a point of ambiguity that affects reproducibility across laboratories.","excerptSha256":"76c76f53a42f9963fbe340f215a0510a7f7b78d6968144e3e0ac3f3df89782d6","id":"ev-9501ebf74fc8a365c8eee0538f179825ee6dbe0fab2a522de8d9092ef50dea85","recordSha256":"4e0f674b8b970d531026563659abe7eea70c59c466e4fb1a89957540dbb2f752","source":{"derivedRecordId":false,"fieldPointer":"/abstract","file":"data/publications.jsonl","locator":{"format":"jsonl","line1Based":6782},"recordId":"SYN-PUB-06782"},"sourceFileSha256":"25d8be510899a943cbed484ae7b7587ca81d538bbe736eff065e928b3b3c0019"},{"canonicalizationVersion":"node-stable-json-v1","datasetCommit":"4fb99b3749adf0d10b5977089ff4c73f4f522240","excerpt":"R0587","excerptSha256":"8929382dd5909eb9a7b1f33e5a60ea14635bdade134fb86ac2c69433714a6cb3","id":"ev-8148c50e9588999fff583fd144764718ed81e97285d030a1c8c798ff59d32b11","recordSha256":"4e0f674b8b970d531026563659abe7eea70c59c466e4fb1a89957540dbb2f752","source":{"derivedRecordId":false,"fieldPointer":"/authors/0/researcher_id","file":"data/publications.jsonl","locator":{"format":"jsonl","line1Based":6782},"recordId":"SYN-PUB-06782"},"sourceFileSha256":"25d8be510899a943cbed484ae7b7587ca81d538bbe736eff065e928b3b3c0019"},{"canonicalizationVersion":"node-stable-json-v1","datasetCommit":"4fb99b3749adf0d10b5977089ff4c73f4f522240","excerpt":"[\"LoRa\",\"Radio Equipment Directive\",\"EN 301 489\",\"radiated emissions\",\"EMC compliance\"]","excerptSha256":"1db0e3561de3e7c894a93851bed658565754af351dfff02f56029229609eea30","id":"ev-643ddf7689bf95bf5ddcbfa2ef48422531b847f862d660b46af15dd3bb9dad88","recordSha256":"4e0f674b8b970d531026563659abe7eea70c59c466e4fb1a89957540dbb2f752","source":{"derivedRecordId":false,"fieldPointer":"/keywords","file":"data/publications.jsonl","locator":{"format":"jsonl","line1Based":6782},"recordId":"SYN-PUB-06782"},"sourceFileSha256":"25d8be510899a943cbed484ae7b7587ca81d538bbe736eff065e928b3b3c0019"},{"canonicalizationVersion":"node-stable-json-v1","datasetCommit":"4fb99b3749adf0d10b5977089ff4c73f4f522240","excerpt":"Pre-Compliance Radiated Emissions Screening Using Near-Field Probe Arrays: Correlation with Far-Field OATS Measurements","excerptSha256":"046257900c315ff7bee7070d8bfe13b532639b1175fb7e3a6b481a0ce75dd1ba","id":"ev-9b3adad7c121a21eaf89a4d75ef92f8c820c1419e6eb65849927217a73daec98","recordSha256":"3168f5ab95c4bc308f505c36eadf7cfa0642cab6c352f947c8e57af9911ebe1a","source":{"derivedRecordId":false,"fieldPointer":"/title","file":"data/publications.jsonl","locator":{"format":"jsonl","line1Based":6781},"recordId":"SYN-PUB-06781"},"sourceFileSha256":"25d8be510899a943cbed484ae7b7587ca81d538bbe736eff065e928b3b3c0019"},{"canonicalizationVersion":"node-stable-json-v1","datasetCommit":"4fb99b3749adf0d10b5977089ff4c73f4f522240","excerpt":"R0587","excerptSha256":"8929382dd5909eb9a7b1f33e5a60ea14635bdade134fb86ac2c69433714a6cb3","id":"ev-fcf16f5cbb3944d9955335f59cc725ef09fb4217b9919ceced76bc9d13407d98","recordSha256":"3168f5ab95c4bc308f505c36eadf7cfa0642cab6c352f947c8e57af9911ebe1a","source":{"derivedRecordId":false,"fieldPointer":"/authors/2/researcher_id","file":"data/publications.jsonl","locator":{"format":"jsonl","line1Based":6781},"recordId":"SYN-PUB-06781"},"sourceFileSha256":"25d8be510899a943cbed484ae7b7587ca81d538bbe736eff065e928b3b3c0019"},{"canonicalizationVersion":"node-stable-json-v1","datasetCommit":"4fb99b3749adf0d10b5977089ff4c73f4f522240","excerpt":"This paper investigates the degree to which near-field emission maps acquired with a planar probe array can predict far-field radiated emissions measured at a 3 m open-area test site (OATS). Forty-eight printed circuit board assemblies representing five product categories were characterised using a custom 64-element magnetic probe array with 5 mm probe pitch at heights of 3 mm and 8 mm above the board surface. Near-field data were processed with an equivalent dipole model to extrapolate far-field values. The mean absolute error between predicted and measured peak emissions was 4.2 dB, with 90 % of predictions falling within ±7 dB of OATS reference measurements in the 30–300 MHz range. Accuracy degraded above 500 MHz, where near-field spatial aliasing became significant at the chosen probe pitch. The method reduced test preparation time by approximately 60 % compared to full OATS campaigns in an iterative design cycle. Limitations related to enclosure shielding effects and cable routing variability are discussed.","excerptSha256":"783fbaebc55053c97f8e42514ea98ad866408f809464b18229c4cbcbf3e16ef2","id":"ev-a7f65025e3cfa82630ab5fcb7ec42551aeaad88b6c0de0918c22236fe974d33d","recordSha256":"3168f5ab95c4bc308f505c36eadf7cfa0642cab6c352f947c8e57af9911ebe1a","source":{"derivedRecordId":false,"fieldPointer":"/abstract","file":"data/publications.jsonl","locator":{"format":"jsonl","line1Based":6781},"recordId":"SYN-PUB-06781"},"sourceFileSha256":"25d8be510899a943cbed484ae7b7587ca81d538bbe736eff065e928b3b3c0019"},{"canonicalizationVersion":"node-stable-json-v1","datasetCommit":"4fb99b3749adf0d10b5977089ff4c73f4f522240","excerpt":"Spread-spectrum clocking is applied in USB 3.2 controllers to reduce peak radiated emissions, but the resulting broadened spectral skirt can raise the noise floor experienced by collocated 2.4 GHz radio receivers. This paper quantifies the degradation in Wi-Fi receive sensitivity caused by USB 3.2 conducted and radiated interference in a laptop-class platform where the USB controller and Wi-Fi module share a common ground plane. Receiver sensitivity degradation was measured as a function of USB cable routing, ground plane slot geometry, and spread-spectrum modulation depth (0.5 %, 1.0 %, 2.0 %). At 0.5 % modulation depth, sensitivity degradation at the most affected Wi-Fi channel was 3.8 dB. Increasing modulation depth to 2.0 % reduced peak emission levels by 6.1 dB but increased the noise floor across the full 2.4–2.484 GHz band by 2.3 dB, resulting in a net degradation of 1.1 dB in worst-case channel sensitivity. This study organised a proficiency test involving five laboratories in Serbia, Hungary, and Romania, each measuring radiated emissions from two identical reference radiators—a broadband comb generator and a stabilised 868 MHz transmitter—over the range 30 MHz to 1 GHz. Between-laboratory standard deviation ranged from 1.9 dB to 4.7 dB depending on frequency and polarisation, with the largest deviations observed below 80 MHz where chamber resonances are most significant. Within-laboratory repeatability standard deviation remained below 1.2 dB for all participants. The 5 m chambers showed a systematic 1.3 dB lower variability index than 3 m chambers across the full frequency range. The paper discusses causes of between-laboratory dispersion and proposes a standardised reference radiator procedure for routine verification of chamber performance between formal ISO 17025 audits.","excerptSha256":"ed9a1b9380edbe8aaf5253e6ac10d7de1f927540b64088f8b091ca8232efc98d","id":"ev-9ad3943c324b87448d50078948aedcc05d5d6b7497ecb100e5ac01977f46c701","recordSha256":"8fab63bb73e4dde9cf5f14e08e0aba95c019da28ebf696d705028210fd15161f","source":{"derivedRecordId":false,"fieldPointer":"/abstract","file":"data/publications.jsonl","locator":{"format":"jsonl","line1Based":6785},"recordId":"SYN-PUB-06785"},"sourceFileSha256":"25d8be510899a943cbed484ae7b7587ca81d538bbe736eff065e928b3b3c0019"},{"canonicalizationVersion":"node-stable-json-v1","datasetCommit":"4fb99b3749adf0d10b5977089ff4c73f4f522240","excerpt":"R0587","excerptSha256":"8929382dd5909eb9a7b1f33e5a60ea14635bdade134fb86ac2c69433714a6cb3","id":"ev-fc690e1d9abd9f28a1bff1639218414a6a5dab94111f440c03e3831ca0ae8e66","recordSha256":"8fab63bb73e4dde9cf5f14e08e0aba95c019da28ebf696d705028210fd15161f","source":{"derivedRecordId":false,"fieldPointer":"/authors/1/researcher_id","file":"data/publications.jsonl","locator":{"format":"jsonl","line1Based":6785},"recordId":"SYN-PUB-06785"},"sourceFileSha256":"25d8be510899a943cbed484ae7b7587ca81d538bbe736eff065e928b3b3c0019"},{"canonicalizationVersion":"node-stable-json-v1","datasetCommit":"4fb99b3749adf0d10b5977089ff4c73f4f522240","excerpt":"Quantifying measurement uncertainty in radiated emissions tests is essential for reproducible compliance assessment under the Radio Equipment Directive. This study applies the CISPR 16-4-2 framework to a set of twelve 868 MHz short-range devices tested on a 3 m open-area test site and a semi-anechoic chamber. Six uncertainty contributors are evaluated: antenna factor calibration, receiver bandwidth, cable impedance mismatch, site imperfections expressed as normalised site attenuation deviation, ambient noise floor, and device positioning repeatability. The combined expanded uncertainty (k=2) ranged from 3.8 dB to 6.1 dB depending on frequency and device category. Comparison of results between the two test environments showed systematic differences of up to 2.3 dB for horizontally polarised emissions, consistent with ground-plane reflection variations. A simplified uncertainty budget worksheet suited to laboratory accreditation audits is presented. The findings suggest that the standard 6 dB margin applied in many pre-compliance workflows is insufficient for devices operating near the regulatory limit.","excerptSha256":"09d44102b2a48c60ecebe50770f100f297f776b2591731bc6047b70e45e8f0da","id":"ev-40259593fd1ee5f5787ca96fa767c09581028b3332cca13fff0ac7a498c15ada","recordSha256":"fba277dd079127c9a16ca60be9e11457c5305dcc5d03fcc5718a5ad35123a9a5","source":{"derivedRecordId":false,"fieldPointer":"/abstract","file":"data/publications.jsonl","locator":{"format":"jsonl","line1Based":6779},"recordId":"SYN-PUB-06779"},"sourceFileSha256":"25d8be510899a943cbed484ae7b7587ca81d538bbe736eff065e928b3b3c0019"},{"canonicalizationVersion":"node-stable-json-v1","datasetCommit":"4fb99b3749adf0d10b5977089ff4c73f4f522240","excerpt":"R0587","excerptSha256":"8929382dd5909eb9a7b1f33e5a60ea14635bdade134fb86ac2c69433714a6cb3","id":"ev-95cf91d5b8f256dda0a4ccd26150c8106d4fac0a6345a52093f9a09c68735d1e","recordSha256":"fba277dd079127c9a16ca60be9e11457c5305dcc5d03fcc5718a5ad35123a9a5","source":{"derivedRecordId":false,"fieldPointer":"/authors/0/researcher_id","file":"data/publications.jsonl","locator":{"format":"jsonl","line1Based":6779},"recordId":"SYN-PUB-06779"},"sourceFileSha256":"25d8be510899a943cbed484ae7b7587ca81d538bbe736eff065e928b3b3c0019"},{"canonicalizationVersion":"node-stable-json-v1","datasetCommit":"4fb99b3749adf0d10b5977089ff4c73f4f522240","excerpt":"Ferrite beads are routinely used on power supply lines to suppress conducted emissions, but their impedance characteristics are nonlinear functions of DC bias current and signal amplitude, factors that are often neglected in circuit simulation models. This study characterises twelve surface-mount ferrite bead types from four manufacturers across the frequency range 1 MHz–1 GHz under DC bias from 0 to 3 A and signal amplitudes from −20 dBm to +10 dBm. Measurements were performed with a four-port VNA using a custom bias tee fixture. At 2 A DC bias, resistive impedance at 100 MHz was reduced by 55–80 % relative to the zero-bias datasheet value depending on bead type. A Jiles–Atherton based macro-model is fitted to the measurement data and validated in SPICE simulation against measured insertion loss of a representative power supply EMC filter. The model predicts insertion loss within 2 dB across the measured frequency range under all bias conditions tested. A full-cycle time-domain inverter model is implemented in PLECS and exercised across current controller bandwidths from 500 Hz to 8 kHz, LCL filter corner frequencies from 4 kHz to 20 kHz, and DC bus voltages of 200 V, 350 V and 600 V. Conducted emission spectra at the AC terminals are extracted via an embedded LISN model and compared with CISPR 11 Class B limits. Increasing controller bandwidth from 1 kHz to 5 kHz reduces low-frequency distortion but increases emissions in the 200 kHz to 600 kHz band by 3 to 11 dB depending on LCL corner frequency. A low-pass post-filter of 47 µH/10 nF placed after the LCL filter reduces peak emission levels by 8 dB with less than 0.3% increase in fundamental voltage drop. Pollution layers with ESDD values of 0.025, 0.05, and 0.1 mg/cm² were tested at 50 Hz. Third-harmonic leakage current content increased from 3% to 18% as ESDD rose, while simulated peak tangential fields grew from 0.6 to 1.4 kV/mm at the shed edges. A linear regression between third-harmonic amplitude and simulated field peak yielded R² = 0.91, suggesting that field computation could support interpretation of online leakage current monitoring data.","excerptSha256":"737cbd460816d46571545e1c872cea1206f628cfb2e01bbb6d0862e2a94e5223","id":"ev-fbb7827cf3c73e21ff4496d1611cb65ff116c9b22c1c63d877460435e10722ab","recordSha256":"77d1e68b295a94200924bd3f1e69c439b693ce033fb36e397a3d8a8ca3eb4a22","source":{"derivedRecordId":false,"fieldPointer":"/abstract","file":"data/publications.jsonl","locator":{"format":"jsonl","line1Based":1507},"recordId":"SYN-PUB-01507"},"sourceFileSha256":"25d8be510899a943cbed484ae7b7587ca81d538bbe736eff065e928b3b3c0019"},{"canonicalizationVersion":"node-stable-json-v1","datasetCommit":"4fb99b3749adf0d10b5977089ff4c73f4f522240","excerpt":"R0115","excerptSha256":"f7d88c227c3d4692f59cead3da02fffc9d63543bb7c9d685720de355a0755109","id":"ev-e5c23141ec6a25bffbea59b11237dd43675656598bd6dd1a4faeb335e65c7578","recordSha256":"77d1e68b295a94200924bd3f1e69c439b693ce033fb36e397a3d8a8ca3eb4a22","source":{"derivedRecordId":false,"fieldPointer":"/authors/0/researcher_id","file":"data/publications.jsonl","locator":{"format":"jsonl","line1Based":1507},"recordId":"SYN-PUB-01507"},"sourceFileSha256":"25d8be510899a943cbed484ae7b7587ca81d538bbe736eff065e928b3b3c0019"},{"canonicalizationVersion":"node-stable-json-v1","datasetCommit":"4fb99b3749adf0d10b5977089ff4c73f4f522240","excerpt":"A three-branch RC ladder model extended with fractional-order capacitors is proposed to account simultaneously for fast charge storage, slow pore diffusion, and long-term leakage in electrochemical double-layer capacitors. Model parameters were determined from impedance spectra and from constant-current charge–discharge experiments performed on eight cells (1 F to 50 F) over 200 cycle sequences. The fractional exponents in the first and second branches differed by up to 0.12, indicating distinct pore populations. Voltage redistribution curves measured after current interruption were reproduced by the model with a root-mean-square error below 3 mV across all cells. The leakage conductance extracted from very low frequency measurements (down to 0.5 mHz) agreed with 72-hour self-discharge data to within 15%. The model is intended for use in energy management algorithms that must account for charge redistribution losses.","excerptSha256":"914147dea446504cef8221541a43af9809cfc4628b1aad4df9e103b7c29de736","id":"ev-23280a367c50137f297280e35747f378b18b263ad7ba3fd7075a26e4191bb439","recordSha256":"c518f4dc8df0a54e1b0ac5c212198e7505fdbfa09a247d595f2d849c48a3c70c","source":{"derivedRecordId":false,"fieldPointer":"/abstract","file":"data/publications.jsonl","locator":{"format":"jsonl","line1Based":1519},"recordId":"SYN-PUB-01519"},"sourceFileSha256":"25d8be510899a943cbed484ae7b7587ca81d538bbe736eff065e928b3b3c0019"},{"canonicalizationVersion":"node-stable-json-v1","datasetCommit":"4fb99b3749adf0d10b5977089ff4c73f4f522240","excerpt":"R0115","excerptSha256":"f7d88c227c3d4692f59cead3da02fffc9d63543bb7c9d685720de355a0755109","id":"ev-6b99245b993a111faadc97dcdb4276244a713b02b7afbc28914d9519b6087df6","recordSha256":"c518f4dc8df0a54e1b0ac5c212198e7505fdbfa09a247d595f2d849c48a3c70c","source":{"derivedRecordId":false,"fieldPointer":"/authors/1/researcher_id","file":"data/publications.jsonl","locator":{"format":"jsonl","line1Based":1519},"recordId":"SYN-PUB-01519"},"sourceFileSha256":"25d8be510899a943cbed484ae7b7587ca81d538bbe736eff065e928b3b3c0019"},{"canonicalizationVersion":"node-stable-json-v1","datasetCommit":"4fb99b3749adf0d10b5977089ff4c73f4f522240","excerpt":"This chapter reviews and extends Bayesian formulations of compressed sensing as applied to multiband spectrum recovery in cognitive radio. A hierarchical Bayesian model is constructed in which each frequency bin's power level is assigned a Laplace prior, enforcing sparsity without requiring explicit knowledge of the sparsity level. Posterior inference is performed via Markov Chain Monte Carlo (MCMC) sampling using a Gibbs sampler with 5000 burn-in and 10000 retained samples. The approach is compared against LASSO, OMP, and iterative reweighted least squares (IRLS) on synthetic multiband signals with 1 to 8 simultaneously active bands, each 5 MHz wide, within a 200 MHz observation window. The Bayesian method outperforms LASSO by 2.1 dB in NMSE at SNR = 5 dB and provides calibrated posterior uncertainty intervals, which are relevant for secondary user access decisions. Computational cost remains the primary limitation for real-time deployment; strategies for approximate inference are outlined.","excerptSha256":"16ff2212ec5dda1ec1060f4b1ee32f777f8aa13ba857a3a38bafda964b684531","id":"ev-1699809849eb04174188f023e14717bb0202a6905faeece8943ac7225bd517f1","recordSha256":"37f1ce7bdacd17143a1d64068ef593b55df322ec2731906c04d2e17830ab7435","source":{"derivedRecordId":false,"fieldPointer":"/abstract","file":"data/publications.jsonl","locator":{"format":"jsonl","line1Based":1517},"recordId":"SYN-PUB-01517"},"sourceFileSha256":"25d8be510899a943cbed484ae7b7587ca81d538bbe736eff065e928b3b3c0019"},{"canonicalizationVersion":"node-stable-json-v1","datasetCommit":"4fb99b3749adf0d10b5977089ff4c73f4f522240","excerpt":"R0115","excerptSha256":"f7d88c227c3d4692f59cead3da02fffc9d63543bb7c9d685720de355a0755109","id":"ev-67c0d2210cd6ed7867ac8efb41322b7e7608211a981669352815439f3a06e28a","recordSha256":"37f1ce7bdacd17143a1d64068ef593b55df322ec2731906c04d2e17830ab7435","source":{"derivedRecordId":false,"fieldPointer":"/authors/2/researcher_id","file":"data/publications.jsonl","locator":{"format":"jsonl","line1Based":1517},"recordId":"SYN-PUB-01517"},"sourceFileSha256":"25d8be510899a943cbed484ae7b7587ca81d538bbe736eff065e928b3b3c0019"},{"canonicalizationVersion":"node-stable-json-v1","datasetCommit":"4fb99b3749adf0d10b5977089ff4c73f4f522240","excerpt":"[\"High-Voltage Engineering\",\"Computational Electromagnetics\",\"Power Systems\",\"Electrical Insulation Technology\"]","excerptSha256":"73b4bf97d68ea76f4e8b85d2dd6fc1d65479ea33cf13809e67db07758c9ac633","id":"ev-d050e5ee070d98bf0ccb6569aa070fbe4411ab4d0703d9224b45d6cf7c7f64eb","recordSha256":"7cf398f0541b1c25c1a0092d494df7036c6e89b2d2d345dec20976b64c0a4d9e","source":{"derivedRecordId":false,"fieldPointer":"/fields","file":"data/researchers.json","locator":{"format":"json","jsonPointer":"/researchers/114"},"recordId":"R0115"},"sourceFileSha256":"00de62344d92b6c41c8b67c7e39b1cd8db5553d4050f4c4e92df89ea172dde40"},{"canonicalizationVersion":"node-stable-json-v1","datasetCommit":"4fb99b3749adf0d10b5977089ff4c73f4f522240","excerpt":"R0115","excerptSha256":"f7d88c227c3d4692f59cead3da02fffc9d63543bb7c9d685720de355a0755109","id":"ev-f90571427347c16c4dd550d3a975892e1b2f6dc066eec9ba225ed461c7fd7074","recordSha256":"7cf398f0541b1c25c1a0092d494df7036c6e89b2d2d345dec20976b64c0a4d9e","source":{"derivedRecordId":false,"fieldPointer":"/id","file":"data/researchers.json","locator":{"format":"json","jsonPointer":"/researchers/114"},"recordId":"R0115"},"sourceFileSha256":"00de62344d92b6c41c8b67c7e39b1cd8db5553d4050f4c4e92df89ea172dde40"},{"canonicalizationVersion":"node-stable-json-v1","datasetCommit":"4fb99b3749adf0d10b5977089ff4c73f4f522240","excerpt":"Dragana Pekez received her Dipl.-Ing. degree in electrical engineering from the Faculty of Technical Sciences, University of Novi Sad, in 2004, followed by her M.Sc. in 2008 and Ph.D. in 2014, both from the same institution. This preprint consolidates data from five years of thermal cycling experiments and production test monitoring at two electronics manufacturing partners to derive a set of quantitative DFT guidelines. For each of twelve layout and routing decisions—including test pad size, via-in-pad avoidance, and scan chain segmentation—the study reports the effect on initial boundary-scan coverage, estimated coverage at 1,000 thermal cycles, and the probability of a probe contact failure per 100,000 test operations. The guidelines are expressed as scoring criteria compatible with standard DFT review checklists. Validation on three new board designs showed that following the guidelines improved predicted 1,000-cycle coverage by an average of 9.4 percentage points relative to designs reviewed without the guidelines.","excerptSha256":"2d18cd886c3c9b357e97ae3eb5530b81367db23fa001bf870220abd49ae49c28","id":"ev-487043bfea2fafba75777bf576d6112556fc500ba35b058c3ce681cc57701f79","recordSha256":"58479121c243407c44422b41a8437d440f82c2cee55b9bf1809bf48ee4562b40","source":{"derivedRecordId":false,"fieldPointer":"/abstract","file":"data/publications.jsonl","locator":{"format":"jsonl","line1Based":7750},"recordId":"SYN-PUB-07750"},"sourceFileSha256":"25d8be510899a943cbed484ae7b7587ca81d538bbe736eff065e928b3b3c0019"},{"canonicalizationVersion":"node-stable-json-v1","datasetCommit":"4fb99b3749adf0d10b5977089ff4c73f4f522240","excerpt":"R0690","excerptSha256":"f3e851e223363584cb00dc4ebf9549d4cec64a2a54c38d814fc75cdbb808eff5","id":"ev-8d385a55597671f63b804bd94671f20bc3060f4301206e6a6f5c15995d0783c6","recordSha256":"58479121c243407c44422b41a8437d440f82c2cee55b9bf1809bf48ee4562b40","source":{"derivedRecordId":false,"fieldPointer":"/authors/1/researcher_id","file":"data/publications.jsonl","locator":{"format":"jsonl","line1Based":7750},"recordId":"SYN-PUB-07750"},"sourceFileSha256":"25d8be510899a943cbed484ae7b7587ca81d538bbe736eff065e928b3b3c0019"},{"canonicalizationVersion":"node-stable-json-v1","datasetCommit":"4fb99b3749adf0d10b5977089ff4c73f4f522240","excerpt":"This book chapter documents the practical process of developing boundary-scan test programmes for engine control units that must comply with ISO 26262 ASIL-B requirements. It covers the workflow from netlist import through BSDL file validation, cluster-based test step generation, and diagnostic coverage estimation. Particular attention is given to conflicts between scan-clock frequency requirements and EMC constraints on automotive boards, and to the documentation artefacts required for functional safety audits. The chapter draws on experience from three development cycles carried out in collaboration with a regional electronics manufacturer over four years. Quantitative data are provided on coverage achieved, defect escapes observed during pilot production, and rework costs attributed to test-strategy decisions. The chapter concludes with a checklist of 22 items for teams beginning boundary-scan development on safety-relevant ECUs.","excerptSha256":"796e76c835390c8627be9ac5b06ac6a9590a241804360a8cabd233baeb06fa37","id":"ev-9448fb8fc4ed341f5ad3dcc3f439c65e9ac9d7547304b86c5a72cb243436b689","recordSha256":"fbf0b7b96d943fec359292675e35c6672ea93715189780cb54413f21e2f3942c","source":{"derivedRecordId":false,"fieldPointer":"/abstract","file":"data/publications.jsonl","locator":{"format":"jsonl","line1Based":7749},"recordId":"SYN-PUB-07749"},"sourceFileSha256":"25d8be510899a943cbed484ae7b7587ca81d538bbe736eff065e928b3b3c0019"},{"canonicalizationVersion":"node-stable-json-v1","datasetCommit":"4fb99b3749adf0d10b5977089ff4c73f4f522240","excerpt":"R0690","excerptSha256":"f3e851e223363584cb00dc4ebf9549d4cec64a2a54c38d814fc75cdbb808eff5","id":"ev-e2980a437d9df0643faf635a86eb21ec3182fbf3c77bf080ba33925274b1cf39","recordSha256":"fbf0b7b96d943fec359292675e35c6672ea93715189780cb54413f21e2f3942c","source":{"derivedRecordId":false,"fieldPointer":"/authors/0/researcher_id","file":"data/publications.jsonl","locator":{"format":"jsonl","line1Based":7749},"recordId":"SYN-PUB-07749"},"sourceFileSha256":"25d8be510899a943cbed484ae7b7587ca81d538bbe736eff065e928b3b3c0019"},{"canonicalizationVersion":"node-stable-json-v1","datasetCommit":"4fb99b3749adf0d10b5977089ff4c73f4f522240","excerpt":"The project addresses the degradation of in-circuit and boundary-scan test coverage that occurs as solder joints, contact pads, and board laminates age under repeated thermal excursions. This paper formulates functional test sequencing as an integer linear programming problem in which the objective is to minimise total test execution time subject to constraints on fault coverage, power sequencing dependencies, and signal settling times. The ILP model was solved with a branch-and-bound solver for six industrial board designs ranging from 18 to 64 functional test steps. Optimised sequences reduced mean test time by 27 % compared to original hand-crafted sequences while maintaining or improving fault coverage in five of the six cases. The largest board saw test time cut from 142 to 98 seconds. Constraint violation penalties were calibrated against data from 1,200 production test records to ensure that power sequencing margins were never violated. The method is board-agnostic and requires only a netlist and a test-step dependency graph as inputs.","excerptSha256":"96f6b84af57fbf2685c0f4b4d5b99d6bf2b59002404b368974eddfe27904e962","id":"ev-0e9458c91201f400237b90f2d482ae12c0f53f79136d27fab83b9790af51ec0e","recordSha256":"4cf50576939934abc31e2352a8edb2a47b0d30e16eee34128d986513abf69a17","source":{"derivedRecordId":false,"fieldPointer":"/abstract","file":"data/publications.jsonl","locator":{"format":"jsonl","line1Based":7748},"recordId":"SYN-PUB-07748"},"sourceFileSha256":"25d8be510899a943cbed484ae7b7587ca81d538bbe736eff065e928b3b3c0019"},{"canonicalizationVersion":"node-stable-json-v1","datasetCommit":"4fb99b3749adf0d10b5977089ff4c73f4f522240","excerpt":"R0690","excerptSha256":"f3e851e223363584cb00dc4ebf9549d4cec64a2a54c38d814fc75cdbb808eff5","id":"ev-ec0eed5afbc51b6bf5342ac3804b31e39d161244ea82642a6d7d19e66c745017","recordSha256":"4cf50576939934abc31e2352a8edb2a47b0d30e16eee34128d986513abf69a17","source":{"derivedRecordId":false,"fieldPointer":"/authors/2/researcher_id","file":"data/publications.jsonl","locator":{"format":"jsonl","line1Based":7748},"recordId":"SYN-PUB-07748"},"sourceFileSha256":"25d8be510899a943cbed484ae7b7587ca81d538bbe736eff065e928b3b3c0019"},{"canonicalizationVersion":"node-stable-json-v1","datasetCommit":"4fb99b3749adf0d10b5977089ff4c73f4f522240","excerpt":"[\"boundary-scan test\",\"in-circuit testing\",\"mixed-signal PCB\",\"fault detection\",\"accelerated thermal stress\",\"JTAG\",\"test coverage optimisation\",\"automated functional test\",\"defect classification\",\"thermal cycling\"]","excerptSha256":"dd2ee286560aac9d758d1f124f89c0302e252814160e3c766188ba58ffd617f8","id":"ev-73e5df9a335019eecfe04a7c51528d3c83ca33be1e216e3c12ebb8ada3d815f2","recordSha256":"ff229ce1a22a27b594b7e7ddfa9f37c6faff6f134d267b62832d74900c9a0e74","source":{"derivedRecordId":false,"fieldPointer":"/keywords","file":"data/researchers.json","locator":{"format":"json","jsonPointer":"/researchers/689"},"recordId":"R0690"},"sourceFileSha256":"00de62344d92b6c41c8b67c7e39b1cd8db5553d4050f4c4e92df89ea172dde40"},{"canonicalizationVersion":"node-stable-json-v1","datasetCommit":"4fb99b3749adf0d10b5977089ff4c73f4f522240","excerpt":"R0690","excerptSha256":"f3e851e223363584cb00dc4ebf9549d4cec64a2a54c38d814fc75cdbb808eff5","id":"ev-6f5a68d66d85477e869ffc41939229b4152651bd44850621603ee1e1cf115563","recordSha256":"ff229ce1a22a27b594b7e7ddfa9f37c6faff6f134d267b62832d74900c9a0e74","source":{"derivedRecordId":false,"fieldPointer":"/id","file":"data/researchers.json","locator":{"format":"json","jsonPointer":"/researchers/689"},"recordId":"R0690"},"sourceFileSha256":"00de62344d92b6c41c8b67c7e39b1cd8db5553d4050f4c4e92df89ea172dde40"},{"canonicalizationVersion":"node-stable-json-v1","datasetCommit":"4fb99b3749adf0d10b5977089ff4c73f4f522240","excerpt":"IEEE 1149.4 extends boundary-scan to analogue pins, but its adoption in volume production has been limited by uncertainty about achievable fault coverage on practical board topologies. This study analyses test coverage attainable under the 1149.4 standard for five analogue subcircuit categories: RC filters, op-amp stages, ADC input conditioning networks, power management feedback loops, and sensor signal conditioning chains. Each category was represented by ten reference circuits implemented on test vehicles. Coverage was measured by fault injection: 1,240 resistor opens/shorts and 880 capacitor deviations spanning ±20 % to ±80 % of nominal value. Achieved coverage ranged from 73 % for power-management loops to 94 % for RC filter networks, with the main limitation being the bandwidth of the analogue test bus relative to circuit operating frequency. A set of design-for-test recommendations is derived from the results, targeting layouts that improve 1149.4 coverage by an average of 11 percentage points.","excerptSha256":"dbe8a7fa2fdca057962e3f3df7e97a45dbaed83aecb0d94883ba29866f6789cb","id":"ev-07338a7246e615f3b8117b9c35f749017bfceb01ac2f9d9c3aca7296d6fe3333","recordSha256":"4d444fe28bac1f9e993ca65dd8f54d2758ddd0167acb8fcefccf48ffed01bf2a","source":{"derivedRecordId":false,"fieldPointer":"/abstract","file":"data/publications.jsonl","locator":{"format":"jsonl","line1Based":7746},"recordId":"SYN-PUB-07746"},"sourceFileSha256":"25d8be510899a943cbed484ae7b7587ca81d538bbe736eff065e928b3b3c0019"},{"canonicalizationVersion":"node-stable-json-v1","datasetCommit":"4fb99b3749adf0d10b5977089ff4c73f4f522240","excerpt":"R0690","excerptSha256":"f3e851e223363584cb00dc4ebf9549d4cec64a2a54c38d814fc75cdbb808eff5","id":"ev-8a31b75a8da4c2e788ee4cc54eaab8a11e64d563ea9c78b24bd842d7d11450b1","recordSha256":"4d444fe28bac1f9e993ca65dd8f54d2758ddd0167acb8fcefccf48ffed01bf2a","source":{"derivedRecordId":false,"fieldPointer":"/authors/0/researcher_id","file":"data/publications.jsonl","locator":{"format":"jsonl","line1Based":7746},"recordId":"SYN-PUB-07746"},"sourceFileSha256":"25d8be510899a943cbed484ae7b7587ca81d538bbe736eff065e928b3b3c0019"},{"canonicalizationVersion":"node-stable-json-v1","datasetCommit":"4fb99b3749adf0d10b5977089ff4c73f4f522240","excerpt":"This paper compares five supervised classification algorithms—logistic regression, random forest, gradient-boosted trees, a shallow multilayer perceptron, and a support vector machine with RBF kernel—for classifying PCB assembly defects from flying-probe in-circuit test measurement vectors. The dataset comprised 11,340 test records from 18 months of production, annotated with nine defect categories confirmed by automated optical inspection and manual rework records. Feature sets included 28 electrical measurements per record: impedance magnitude, phase, DC resistance, and transient current slope at multiple test points. Random forest and gradient-boosted trees achieved the highest macro-averaged F1 scores of 0.913 and 0.908 respectively on a stratified held-out test set. The MLP performed comparably at 0.901 but required substantially longer training time. A practical deployment scheme is described in which the classifier runs as a post-processing module on the tester host PC, adding less than 200 ms per board. Class imbalance handling via SMOTE is evaluated, showing consistent benefit for rare defect categories.","excerptSha256":"4c7261ef47a29c3f02ca062dd3220d8742dfeb19ac97c2856806d873333f8b69","id":"ev-a5bbcb928df47ab6c941679eafcb4c2cbc5fc1a694bb2312645dad1c37af4e53","recordSha256":"55da7baecdf0471815aa8b67e25cc95d9eb4ebdbf20f20e5846103295ae47fa3","source":{"derivedRecordId":false,"fieldPointer":"/abstract","file":"data/publications.jsonl","locator":{"format":"jsonl","line1Based":404},"recordId":"SYN-PUB-00404"},"sourceFileSha256":"25d8be510899a943cbed484ae7b7587ca81d538bbe736eff065e928b3b3c0019"},{"canonicalizationVersion":"node-stable-json-v1","datasetCommit":"4fb99b3749adf0d10b5977089ff4c73f4f522240","excerpt":"R0690","excerptSha256":"f3e851e223363584cb00dc4ebf9549d4cec64a2a54c38d814fc75cdbb808eff5","id":"ev-4a825ee4d2ed7e8e9428997425bd116ae0b83b27b83260e2f11d77a9de5b81c4","recordSha256":"55da7baecdf0471815aa8b67e25cc95d9eb4ebdbf20f20e5846103295ae47fa3","source":{"derivedRecordId":false,"fieldPointer":"/authors/0/researcher_id","file":"data/publications.jsonl","locator":{"format":"jsonl","line1Based":404},"recordId":"SYN-PUB-00404"},"sourceFileSha256":"25d8be510899a943cbed484ae7b7587ca81d538bbe736eff065e928b3b3c0019"},{"canonicalizationVersion":"node-stable-json-v1","datasetCommit":"4fb99b3749adf0d10b5977089ff4c73f4f522240","excerpt":"This paper presents a quantitative framework for evaluating boundary-scan controllability and observability on mixed-signal printed circuit board assemblies where analogue subcircuits interrupt digital scan chains. The method assigns a weighted coverage score to each net segment based on the ratio of scan-accessible driver–receiver pairs to the total number of electrical nodes. Experiments were conducted on three reference boards populated with 128, 256, and 512 component pins respectively, using a commercial JTAG controller operating at 10 MHz TCK. Coverage scores were compared against hand-calculated fault-injection results for twelve common defect classes including opens, shorts, and stuck-at faults. The framework identified a 14–22 % gap between nominal boundary-scan coverage estimates and empirically verified detection rates on nets that cross analogue power domains. A correction factor derived from net impedance profiles is proposed and validated on an automotive-grade sensor interface board. The approach requires no modifications to existing IEEE 1149.1 infrastructure.","excerptSha256":"366bd38aab0f9e74a28e4dcfcbb6a585b8998cc0a00b5bc817d2b0a41dc7306e","id":"ev-5fc5ea2d035b4d22b2e4327fd17bd00c5800b44d397824839aa737867c923687","recordSha256":"555bcd380d41e253ffd0e83dc90fdbf3a8b06f5b5d853def7cad54356720a615","source":{"derivedRecordId":false,"fieldPointer":"/abstract","file":"data/publications.jsonl","locator":{"format":"jsonl","line1Based":7743},"recordId":"SYN-PUB-07743"},"sourceFileSha256":"25d8be510899a943cbed484ae7b7587ca81d538bbe736eff065e928b3b3c0019"},{"canonicalizationVersion":"node-stable-json-v1","datasetCommit":"4fb99b3749adf0d10b5977089ff4c73f4f522240","excerpt":"R0690","excerptSha256":"f3e851e223363584cb00dc4ebf9549d4cec64a2a54c38d814fc75cdbb808eff5","id":"ev-046c8968f7b94606f1dada8cfe2f671dfcc3ef5c64bcc07cc2fb4fe189252fd5","recordSha256":"555bcd380d41e253ffd0e83dc90fdbf3a8b06f5b5d853def7cad54356720a615","source":{"derivedRecordId":false,"fieldPointer":"/authors/2/researcher_id","file":"data/publications.jsonl","locator":{"format":"jsonl","line1Based":7743},"recordId":"SYN-PUB-07743"},"sourceFileSha256":"25d8be510899a943cbed484ae7b7587ca81d538bbe736eff065e928b3b3c0019"},{"canonicalizationVersion":"node-stable-json-v1","datasetCommit":"4fb99b3749adf0d10b5977089ff4c73f4f522240","excerpt":"Solder joint degradation under repeated thermal excursions alters joint resistance in ways that can shift in-circuit test measurements outside tolerance windows, producing false failures or masking real defects. This study quantifies the effect by replacing a standard electrolytic capacitor bank (ESL ≈ 45 nH) with a film capacitor arrangement (ESL ≈ 8 nH) in a 4 kW test drive and recording the full conducted emission spectrum from 150 kHz to 30 MHz under identical load conditions. Peak differential-mode emissions between 10 MHz and 30 MHz were reduced by 6–11 dB with the lower-ESL bank. Impedance spectroscopy measurements confirmed the resonance shift from 9.2 MHz to above 30 MHz. A circuit-level simulation model incorporating measured parasitic parameters reproduced the spectral features within ±2 dB. The findings are directly applicable to PCB layout guidelines for compact drive modules targeting IEC 61800-3 Category C2 limits.","excerptSha256":"611571fb97f4c600db05021e6a50885b7e6a43ff37c0e8bc5b40df17fa7f9cef","id":"ev-92f584d628ea72f4da22d2dae334a73d459b73133ccbbecfc2248984efb87645","recordSha256":"7f3506d1ce14966bfcce5df2e7e5fc08dda9e34cae6fa61cc2cd22a868243ea1","source":{"derivedRecordId":false,"fieldPointer":"/abstract","file":"data/publications.jsonl","locator":{"format":"jsonl","line1Based":3534},"recordId":"SYN-PUB-03534"},"sourceFileSha256":"25d8be510899a943cbed484ae7b7587ca81d538bbe736eff065e928b3b3c0019"},{"canonicalizationVersion":"node-stable-json-v1","datasetCommit":"4fb99b3749adf0d10b5977089ff4c73f4f522240","excerpt":"R0283","excerptSha256":"0836f80d4632361de22c57e1b2ab65ef4d5e26a808946f62b61a69f26d9d1b4c","id":"ev-0711b13ba6076b2e4a5ace295957364247f69b434b3923fbbe49ca417e793210","recordSha256":"7f3506d1ce14966bfcce5df2e7e5fc08dda9e34cae6fa61cc2cd22a868243ea1","source":{"derivedRecordId":false,"fieldPointer":"/authors/0/researcher_id","file":"data/publications.jsonl","locator":{"format":"jsonl","line1Based":3534},"recordId":"SYN-PUB-03534"},"sourceFileSha256":"25d8be510899a943cbed484ae7b7587ca81d538bbe736eff065e928b3b3c0019"},{"canonicalizationVersion":"node-stable-json-v1","datasetCommit":"4fb99b3749adf0d10b5977089ff4c73f4f522240","excerpt":"The project addressed the gap between laboratory IEC 61800-3 compliance and field performance of EMC filters for SiC MOSFET motor drives. Filter topologies (LC, LCL, and CL stages) are compared for a 15 kW test drive, and component values are selected to avoid resonances within the 150 kHz–2 MHz band that could cause limit exceedances at intermediate frequencies. Prototype filters were wound on nanocrystalline toroidal cores and verified by insertion-loss measurement per IEC 60939-3 before integration. Final compliance measurements confirmed that all quasi-peak and average readings were at least 5 dB below the Category C2 limit across the full 150 kHz–30 MHz range. Total filter volume was 0.38 litres and mass 0.61 kg for the 15 kW case.","excerptSha256":"d78a10b0bbd499f0165ce1207fa33dcef08f634143e6565182a9361e26d830a3","id":"ev-f0bbeaeea7084b32bacfe4e84990af6331dfff8ad2c8b262e3456441b335097d","recordSha256":"856bbb36c875961dd5a84ead156401aa9bb471d936c23013bd65a55f6c89a29d","source":{"derivedRecordId":false,"fieldPointer":"/abstract","file":"data/publications.jsonl","locator":{"format":"jsonl","line1Based":3536},"recordId":"SYN-PUB-03536"},"sourceFileSha256":"25d8be510899a943cbed484ae7b7587ca81d538bbe736eff065e928b3b3c0019"},{"canonicalizationVersion":"node-stable-json-v1","datasetCommit":"4fb99b3749adf0d10b5977089ff4c73f4f522240","excerpt":"R0283","excerptSha256":"0836f80d4632361de22c57e1b2ab65ef4d5e26a808946f62b61a69f26d9d1b4c","id":"ev-df02a04ffed68bdfa342ce11f9657f36876b75251b9a7845d982e8cd64fc139d","recordSha256":"856bbb36c875961dd5a84ead156401aa9bb471d936c23013bd65a55f6c89a29d","source":{"derivedRecordId":false,"fieldPointer":"/authors/0/researcher_id","file":"data/publications.jsonl","locator":{"format":"jsonl","line1Based":3536},"recordId":"SYN-PUB-03536"},"sourceFileSha256":"25d8be510899a943cbed484ae7b7587ca81d538bbe736eff065e928b3b3c0019"},{"canonicalizationVersion":"node-stable-json-v1","datasetCommit":"4fb99b3749adf0d10b5977089ff4c73f4f522240","excerpt":"[\"conducted EMI\",\"variable-speed drives\",\"EMC filter design\",\"harmonic spectrum analysis\",\"IEC 61800-3\",\"common-mode noise\",\"differential-mode noise\",\"PWM inverters\",\"impedance mismatch\",\"EMI mitigation\"]","excerptSha256":"61a06880a6b0c69798b725dca259715a8f68f6aed2767a89e7a32050a0924a97","id":"ev-131afdbb513e412e74d1e92a9af271ef5698d2f8e9925a82e99153e9ea81d9f3","recordSha256":"c22035c7b5ec5d5b3505012cb2fd940bb87bebdbdd789af79612c00c1bc1471d","source":{"derivedRecordId":false,"fieldPointer":"/keywords","file":"data/researchers.json","locator":{"format":"json","jsonPointer":"/researchers/282"},"recordId":"R0283"},"sourceFileSha256":"00de62344d92b6c41c8b67c7e39b1cd8db5553d4050f4c4e92df89ea172dde40"},{"canonicalizationVersion":"node-stable-json-v1","datasetCommit":"4fb99b3749adf0d10b5977089ff4c73f4f522240","excerpt":"R0283","excerptSha256":"0836f80d4632361de22c57e1b2ab65ef4d5e26a808946f62b61a69f26d9d1b4c","id":"ev-57b716776e112f0d800ca0d5378d73c67f59faea65bea554bdbc3903781b2779","recordSha256":"c22035c7b5ec5d5b3505012cb2fd940bb87bebdbdd789af79612c00c1bc1471d","source":{"derivedRecordId":false,"fieldPointer":"/id","file":"data/researchers.json","locator":{"format":"json","jsonPointer":"/researchers/282"},"recordId":"R0283"},"sourceFileSha256":"00de62344d92b6c41c8b67c7e39b1cd8db5553d4050f4c4e92df89ea172dde40"},{"canonicalizationVersion":"node-stable-json-v1","datasetCommit":"4fb99b3749adf0d10b5977089ff4c73f4f522240","excerpt":"EMC Filter Design for SiC MOSFET-Based Motor Drives: Comparison with IGBT Baseline at 150 kHz–30 MHz","excerptSha256":"9a536f3dd7919d2f0f6b27011e7727a1ad2ad6cb84c1f9500dc32577ec888585","id":"ev-633ea8a052fa0b784b8a3a4d0002b594f00e0f33c4d0afd218b83f62cbc9b70b","recordSha256":"0b026103ed50809221467ee5e78fb4f7e16a47f6ec0ed4a5c183233dfb7c2ccb","source":{"derivedRecordId":false,"fieldPointer":"/title","file":"data/publications.jsonl","locator":{"format":"jsonl","line1Based":3539},"recordId":"SYN-PUB-03539"},"sourceFileSha256":"25d8be510899a943cbed484ae7b7587ca81d538bbe736eff065e928b3b3c0019"},{"canonicalizationVersion":"node-stable-json-v1","datasetCommit":"4fb99b3749adf0d10b5977089ff4c73f4f522240","excerpt":"R0283","excerptSha256":"0836f80d4632361de22c57e1b2ab65ef4d5e26a808946f62b61a69f26d9d1b4c","id":"ev-321f6ceec7447e4bcb948b0d188946c4575fc89266502644b90eed17db544e66","recordSha256":"0b026103ed50809221467ee5e78fb4f7e16a47f6ec0ed4a5c183233dfb7c2ccb","source":{"derivedRecordId":false,"fieldPointer":"/authors/0/researcher_id","file":"data/publications.jsonl","locator":{"format":"jsonl","line1Based":3539},"recordId":"SYN-PUB-03539"},"sourceFileSha256":"25d8be510899a943cbed484ae7b7587ca81d538bbe736eff065e928b3b3c0019"},{"canonicalizationVersion":"node-stable-json-v1","datasetCommit":"4fb99b3749adf0d10b5977089ff4c73f4f522240","excerpt":"This book chapter provides a self-contained treatment of EMC requirements and mitigation strategies for variable-speed drive systems in industrial automation contexts. It covers the regulatory framework (IEC 61800-3, IEC 61000-6-2, and IEC 61000-6-4), the physical origins of conducted and radiated disturbances in PWM inverter drives, and practical filter and shielding design methods. Worked examples are based on measurement data from 2.2 kW to 55 kW drive systems. The chapter addresses installation variables including motor cable routing, grounding topology, and proximity to sensitive signal cables, with quantitative guidance on separation distances and screen termination. A section on SiC-based drives discusses how faster switching transitions alter both emission profiles and filter requirements relative to IGBT designs. The chapter is intended for practising engineers and postgraduate students with a background in power electronics.","excerptSha256":"d11e5496cf4b401932b49ed04004b8d06e6d91e2c90a4be0847e540c2392eeb0","id":"ev-b07b3b1224a64b7aab19680f5926a4c8df99e4cdcb4fa0b98bb429dccce0e5e6","recordSha256":"e5545be78ac5dfcb8d9ece442555f7fe0fab9e5a7d6a2be217aa0a0e50107469","source":{"derivedRecordId":false,"fieldPointer":"/abstract","file":"data/publications.jsonl","locator":{"format":"jsonl","line1Based":3541},"recordId":"SYN-PUB-03541"},"sourceFileSha256":"25d8be510899a943cbed484ae7b7587ca81d538bbe736eff065e928b3b3c0019"},{"canonicalizationVersion":"node-stable-json-v1","datasetCommit":"4fb99b3749adf0d10b5977089ff4c73f4f522240","excerpt":"R0283","excerptSha256":"0836f80d4632361de22c57e1b2ab65ef4d5e26a808946f62b61a69f26d9d1b4c","id":"ev-58ff6426cf770792a739e4383e08088f2bbfd8281d4b3f00ae49823587c2d119","recordSha256":"e5545be78ac5dfcb8d9ece442555f7fe0fab9e5a7d6a2be217aa0a0e50107469","source":{"derivedRecordId":false,"fieldPointer":"/authors/0/researcher_id","file":"data/publications.jsonl","locator":{"format":"jsonl","line1Based":3541},"recordId":"SYN-PUB-03541"},"sourceFileSha256":"25d8be510899a943cbed484ae7b7587ca81d538bbe736eff065e928b3b3c0019"},{"canonicalizationVersion":"node-stable-json-v1","datasetCommit":"4fb99b3749adf0d10b5977089ff4c73f4f522240","excerpt":"Ana Mamužić received her B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Electrical Engineering from the Faculty of Technical Sciences, University of Novi Sad, in 2003 and 2006 respectively, and her Ph.D. from the same institution in 2012. This experimental study quantifies the effect for shielded and unshielded cables of lengths 5 m, 20 m, and 50 m connected to a 5.5 kW drive. CM conducted emission levels at the drive input were measured for each combination. Unshielded 50 m cables increased broadband CM noise by 10–14 dB relative to the 5 m reference below 1 MHz, primarily due to cable-to-ground capacitance estimated at 3.4 nF for the 50 m case. Shield grounding at both ends reduced CM emissions by 5–9 dB across 150 kHz–5 MHz for the 20 m cable. A transmission-line model incorporating per-unit-length parameters measured by time-domain reflectometry reproduced the resonant structure of the emission spectrum within ±3 dB. Practical wiring recommendations derived from the data are summarised for installation engineers.","excerptSha256":"e3667e8fe25a1a419529db18ecc091c47ea670af1e29a8b94b4bfb3b8d568f4b","id":"ev-100fcd42fcd95cccae5afb4252adc5eb474f7aedc29c548ff2503380bb122ff8","recordSha256":"f38e50d4298abe1405a54781c38facdd2fda5953e22a9aa08e7c45a76657471d","source":{"derivedRecordId":false,"fieldPointer":"/abstract","file":"data/publications.jsonl","locator":{"format":"jsonl","line1Based":3537},"recordId":"SYN-PUB-03537"},"sourceFileSha256":"25d8be510899a943cbed484ae7b7587ca81d538bbe736eff065e928b3b3c0019"},{"canonicalizationVersion":"node-stable-json-v1","datasetCommit":"4fb99b3749adf0d10b5977089ff4c73f4f522240","excerpt":"R0283","excerptSha256":"0836f80d4632361de22c57e1b2ab65ef4d5e26a808946f62b61a69f26d9d1b4c","id":"ev-6f4dd343ac67bd5ffce7f80ad20baee1d16e22bcba7e7e04e35ac50236741204","recordSha256":"f38e50d4298abe1405a54781c38facdd2fda5953e22a9aa08e7c45a76657471d","source":{"derivedRecordId":false,"fieldPointer":"/authors/1/researcher_id","file":"data/publications.jsonl","locator":{"format":"jsonl","line1Based":3537},"recordId":"SYN-PUB-03537"},"sourceFileSha256":"25d8be510899a943cbed484ae7b7587ca81d538bbe736eff065e928b3b3c0019"},{"canonicalizationVersion":"node-stable-json-v1","datasetCommit":"4fb99b3749adf0d10b5977089ff4c73f4f522240","excerpt":"The attenuation provided by Y-capacitors in common-mode EMC filters depends on the impedance of the protective earth (PE) connection, which varies substantially between industrial installations. This paper characterises PE impedance at 47 industrial sites across northern Serbia using a vector network analyser, finding that impedance magnitude at 1 MHz ranges from 0.4 Ω to 18 Ω and exhibits significant inductive character above 500 kHz. The measured impedance profiles are used as input to a circuit simulation of a 15 kW drive with a three-stage CM filter, evaluating worst-case degradation in CM insertion loss. CM attenuation at 1 MHz degraded by up to 9 dB between the best and worst PE cases, rendering a filter that passed IEC 61800-3 Category C2 under laboratory conditions non-compliant in 14% of simulated field conditions. A modified filter topology using a split CM choke with partial differential-mode rejection reduces this variability to within ±2 dB.","excerptSha256":"314989fd8e3ffe0a987777ae141f3dbe2a0c18c7eb9494a968784f2058684005","id":"ev-8ae3aa10298ca2de57e236de7654ce626181277bb8c725f3065ffcf826f26d67","recordSha256":"fbe8b29d3b9f3b2f73f1e52e55f70e9ed965f26a38fe2b59a8c96d5b43960e22","source":{"derivedRecordId":false,"fieldPointer":"/abstract","file":"data/publications.jsonl","locator":{"format":"jsonl","line1Based":3542},"recordId":"SYN-PUB-03542"},"sourceFileSha256":"25d8be510899a943cbed484ae7b7587ca81d538bbe736eff065e928b3b3c0019"},{"canonicalizationVersion":"node-stable-json-v1","datasetCommit":"4fb99b3749adf0d10b5977089ff4c73f4f522240","excerpt":"R0283","excerptSha256":"0836f80d4632361de22c57e1b2ab65ef4d5e26a808946f62b61a69f26d9d1b4c","id":"ev-23a70508e6293909c7e526402bdd8ba49c233db433d5a739f186e91f1310d6b8","recordSha256":"fbe8b29d3b9f3b2f73f1e52e55f70e9ed965f26a38fe2b59a8c96d5b43960e22","source":{"derivedRecordId":false,"fieldPointer":"/authors/0/researcher_id","file":"data/publications.jsonl","locator":{"format":"jsonl","line1Based":3542},"recordId":"SYN-PUB-03542"},"sourceFileSha256":"25d8be510899a943cbed484ae7b7587ca81d538bbe736eff065e928b3b3c0019"},{"canonicalizationVersion":"node-stable-json-v1","datasetCommit":"4fb99b3749adf0d10b5977089ff4c73f4f522240","excerpt":"R0283","excerptSha256":"0836f80d4632361de22c57e1b2ab65ef4d5e26a808946f62b61a69f26d9d1b4c","id":"ev-a4695c2179235875549eefafcf700fc983275debce8c8e5ecd0adfb3af5501f3","recordSha256":"c28f1d8389ff3da2ca408a6a02726723f3ed0f1117fbb811b76cc88cde2badb6","source":{"derivedRecordId":false,"fieldPointer":"/authors/4/researcher_id","file":"data/publications.jsonl","locator":{"format":"jsonl","line1Based":1514},"recordId":"SYN-PUB-01514"},"sourceFileSha256":"25d8be510899a943cbed484ae7b7587ca81d538bbe736eff065e928b3b3c0019"},{"canonicalizationVersion":"node-stable-json-v1","datasetCommit":"4fb99b3749adf0d10b5977089ff4c73f4f522240","excerpt":"Harmonic and EMC Interaction in Multi-Drive Industrial Power Systems","excerptSha256":"10771fa0d26932cf775351c6bdde2bab5902ea9f711a75d0a24eccbafe5adcbb","id":"ev-75278028160c3d5a37c6b6603e5355f063a82bf67e25cf628a010446abddee2f","recordSha256":"8adcbafb4c131b867607dc92f96ce216c04578b6eefdfcc5590b9f7d0f14b5df","source":{"derivedRecordId":false,"fieldPointer":"/title","file":"data/projects.json","locator":{"format":"json","jsonPointer":"/projects/392"},"recordId":"SYN-PRJ-0393"},"sourceFileSha256":"847cb13091f91ed9fe57f6aea0088cd1e66ed0263c86a5090f169a2b30ab3a1a"},{"canonicalizationVersion":"node-stable-json-v1","datasetCommit":"4fb99b3749adf0d10b5977089ff4c73f4f522240","excerpt":"R0283","excerptSha256":"0836f80d4632361de22c57e1b2ab65ef4d5e26a808946f62b61a69f26d9d1b4c","id":"ev-60d4522e3091cf80d541ee0b19fec5c6d73712a103d7e3b3d9081d3c9967861b","recordSha256":"8adcbafb4c131b867607dc92f96ce216c04578b6eefdfcc5590b9f7d0f14b5df","source":{"derivedRecordId":false,"fieldPointer":"/participants/0/researcher_id","file":"data/projects.json","locator":{"format":"json","jsonPointer":"/projects/392"},"recordId":"SYN-PRJ-0393"},"sourceFileSha256":"847cb13091f91ed9fe57f6aea0088cd1e66ed0263c86a5090f169a2b30ab3a1a"},{"canonicalizationVersion":"node-stable-json-v1","datasetCommit":"4fb99b3749adf0d10b5977089ff4c73f4f522240","excerpt":"Mamužić is co-supervising two PhD students expected to defend in 2026–2027, which limits availability for new PhD co-supervision until 2027. This paper presents a parametric finite-element study of CSI as a function of five geometric variables: via diameter, via pitch, power-loop width, source-sense routing length, and copper pour layer count. Seventeen PCB variants were fabricated and CSI was measured by the impedance-analyser short-circuit method at 1 MHz. CSI ranged from 0.4 nH for a four-layer optimised layout to 3.1 nH for a two-layer reference layout. Switching-energy experiments confirmed that each additional 1 nH of CSI increased Eon by approximately 0.35 µJ at 15 A / 400 V. A design flowchart consolidating the parametric results is provided. Recommended design rules include a maximum source-sense trace length of 5 mm and a minimum of four vias per source return path. The findings apply to GaN devices in TO-leadless packages with source-sense pins.","excerptSha256":"9c0e95023809c0757db2564a38bb4c5aeff4afe25532c1498e9d64d196510270","id":"ev-1a5308cd1611a752a04ff88c110f02a7a8c81f8ea891b1c54e819c1f1eac8ff5","recordSha256":"add5212d71db989d02560bc0df05adaf030e153441f0d6cd12e6f827eeb85f3c","source":{"derivedRecordId":false,"fieldPointer":"/abstract","file":"data/publications.jsonl","locator":{"format":"jsonl","line1Based":7471},"recordId":"SYN-PUB-07471"},"sourceFileSha256":"25d8be510899a943cbed484ae7b7587ca81d538bbe736eff065e928b3b3c0019"},{"canonicalizationVersion":"node-stable-json-v1","datasetCommit":"4fb99b3749adf0d10b5977089ff4c73f4f522240","excerpt":"R0660","excerptSha256":"75b01c9864196c9dcda05784fd7470e09925ca8aca1e943ea14f23b1818d2c4c","id":"ev-d3545219674ecca44f9f810919c5f330b2a587e2eeca4ba2021ca94172e2a7fb","recordSha256":"add5212d71db989d02560bc0df05adaf030e153441f0d6cd12e6f827eeb85f3c","source":{"derivedRecordId":false,"fieldPointer":"/authors/1/researcher_id","file":"data/publications.jsonl","locator":{"format":"jsonl","line1Based":7471},"recordId":"SYN-PUB-07471"},"sourceFileSha256":"25d8be510899a943cbed484ae7b7587ca81d538bbe736eff065e928b3b3c0019"},{"canonicalizationVersion":"node-stable-json-v1","datasetCommit":"4fb99b3749adf0d10b5977089ff4c73f4f522240","excerpt":"Electromagnetic interference characterisation of a 1 MHz GaN-based DC–DC converter: conducted and radiated emissions","excerptSha256":"7ca28d081b7c852a5f740e15c646487c2d49e695c30b98355d20f8661d507795","id":"ev-df9525f50d20c0a9a7d391ea165917fab137f13579a643b3735d7db3eefcc806","recordSha256":"4908811b775bf6f145a6f7e5afca17dfdc85b222443f77a2b213e14387ca0727","source":{"derivedRecordId":false,"fieldPointer":"/title","file":"data/publications.jsonl","locator":{"format":"jsonl","line1Based":2916},"recordId":"SYN-PUB-02916"},"sourceFileSha256":"25d8be510899a943cbed484ae7b7587ca81d538bbe736eff065e928b3b3c0019"},{"canonicalizationVersion":"node-stable-json-v1","datasetCommit":"4fb99b3749adf0d10b5977089ff4c73f4f522240","excerpt":"An isolated gate-driver power supply achieving reinforced insulation per IEC 60950-1 is described for use with 650 V enhancement-mode GaN half-bridge modules. The design uses a 4 MHz resonant Royer oscillator driving a coreless PCB transformer with a creepage distance of 8 mm and a measured partial-discharge inception voltage of 4.2 kV. Under-voltage lockout thresholds are set at +5.4 V / −2.5 V for the high-side channel. Propagation delay mismatch between high- and low-side channels was measured at 3.8 ns over the full temperature range of −20 °C to 125 °C. The supply delivers 750 mW per channel with a peak efficiency of 82 %. Short-circuit protection using a desaturation-equivalent drain-voltage comparator trips within 120 ns. Prototype boards were subjected to a 1000-hour humidity-bias test at 85 °C / 85 % RH without insulation degradation. The design is intended for DC–DC converters switching at 1 MHz.","excerptSha256":"6d2d0729f0abc3d26cf27a615c8ec49e006ea4ff2d0a4222258126c5c5aa0bea","id":"ev-b5c6a3dc26e9f5cba8a5849e5de6426e88ca041d92bb17cdd75bee4030cce277","recordSha256":"3ec135cc57b205246562f9e44ac1b1e49e2276361003a53e2cb458483de91317","source":{"derivedRecordId":false,"fieldPointer":"/abstract","file":"data/publications.jsonl","locator":{"format":"jsonl","line1Based":7469},"recordId":"SYN-PUB-07469"},"sourceFileSha256":"25d8be510899a943cbed484ae7b7587ca81d538bbe736eff065e928b3b3c0019"},{"canonicalizationVersion":"node-stable-json-v1","datasetCommit":"4fb99b3749adf0d10b5977089ff4c73f4f522240","excerpt":"R0660","excerptSha256":"75b01c9864196c9dcda05784fd7470e09925ca8aca1e943ea14f23b1818d2c4c","id":"ev-58300d7d2287b5bfe8c3283061dd3337c96704fd2d987c6702a140bd3aa4f66f","recordSha256":"3ec135cc57b205246562f9e44ac1b1e49e2276361003a53e2cb458483de91317","source":{"derivedRecordId":false,"fieldPointer":"/authors/1/researcher_id","file":"data/publications.jsonl","locator":{"format":"jsonl","line1Based":7469},"recordId":"SYN-PUB-07469"},"sourceFileSha256":"25d8be510899a943cbed484ae7b7587ca81d538bbe736eff065e928b3b3c0019"},{"canonicalizationVersion":"node-stable-json-v1","datasetCommit":"4fb99b3749adf0d10b5977089ff4c73f4f522240","excerpt":"This paper presents a systematic measurement campaign of switching energies in a 600 V enhancement-mode GaN HEMT half-bridge using a double-pulse test fixture. Turn-on losses Eon and turn-off losses Eoff were measured across a gate-resistance range of 0–22 Ω, a drain current range of 2–25 A, and junction temperatures of 25 °C and 100 °C. At 15 A and 400 V with a 4.7 Ω gate resistance, Eon was 4.8 µJ and Eoff was 1.9 µJ, giving a total switching loss of 6.7 µJ per event. Parasitic common-source inductance of the PCB layout was extracted via network-analyser S-parameter measurements and ranged from 0.8 to 2.3 nH across three board variants. A piece-wise linear switching model was fitted to the experimental data with relative error below 6 % over the full test matrix. The calorimetric cross-validation agreed with the electrical integration method within 4 %. Results are compared with datasheet figures and discrepancies exceeding 20 % at high current are highlighted.","excerptSha256":"a3a284187fd453c19c33a7a609cf63d429e214eb90de665def72f98d2fa1420a","id":"ev-47049f479432be2047f54dd23d9a4ba43ee1b5e14104c00d3dcc491443e08a31","recordSha256":"dca767219df971141c4320ea5f8b1ed111b21c51b9ec1f0a910ebef7bfaca85b","source":{"derivedRecordId":false,"fieldPointer":"/abstract","file":"data/publications.jsonl","locator":{"format":"jsonl","line1Based":7468},"recordId":"SYN-PUB-07468"},"sourceFileSha256":"25d8be510899a943cbed484ae7b7587ca81d538bbe736eff065e928b3b3c0019"},{"canonicalizationVersion":"node-stable-json-v1","datasetCommit":"4fb99b3749adf0d10b5977089ff4c73f4f522240","excerpt":"R0660","excerptSha256":"75b01c9864196c9dcda05784fd7470e09925ca8aca1e943ea14f23b1818d2c4c","id":"ev-caea32ac2b78c8a3c4c2eb7070dfd7272525948df20ce4d593c91d873f30fe78","recordSha256":"dca767219df971141c4320ea5f8b1ed111b21c51b9ec1f0a910ebef7bfaca85b","source":{"derivedRecordId":false,"fieldPointer":"/authors/1/researcher_id","file":"data/publications.jsonl","locator":{"format":"jsonl","line1Based":7468},"recordId":"SYN-PUB-07468"},"sourceFileSha256":"25d8be510899a943cbed484ae7b7587ca81d538bbe736eff065e928b3b3c0019"},{"canonicalizationVersion":"node-stable-json-v1","datasetCommit":"4fb99b3749adf0d10b5977089ff4c73f4f522240","excerpt":"[\"EMI\",\"conducted emissions\",\"radiated emissions\",\"GaN converter\",\"common-mode noise\"]","excerptSha256":"4624c5ac371ed47134438ab73d69b36d1ce239329068231489b780f885381e55","id":"ev-7770daad6e1c7f56082297052277b1eb0aefbfe3b6f3eebafd73b6aa979ede1f","recordSha256":"4908811b775bf6f145a6f7e5afca17dfdc85b222443f77a2b213e14387ca0727","source":{"derivedRecordId":false,"fieldPointer":"/keywords","file":"data/publications.jsonl","locator":{"format":"jsonl","line1Based":2916},"recordId":"SYN-PUB-02916"},"sourceFileSha256":"25d8be510899a943cbed484ae7b7587ca81d538bbe736eff065e928b3b3c0019"},{"canonicalizationVersion":"node-stable-json-v1","datasetCommit":"4fb99b3749adf0d10b5977089ff4c73f4f522240","excerpt":"Calorimetric power-loss measurement bench for hard-switched converters up to 1 MHz: design and uncertainty analysis","excerptSha256":"5f6bf7838c01fcd7160073fbb7a2ff76f357f20a8dd222b5f6698600ce726c92","id":"ev-71cc94627ee51b1ad8e516533e9bed3c35303a23849d0d43579d9a09fc9b59fe","recordSha256":"7b9401208b6b1fc7ca86d383eb4fc8bb1ca661d065c7d5d63333e8ddf90334e0","source":{"derivedRecordId":false,"fieldPointer":"/title","file":"data/publications.jsonl","locator":{"format":"jsonl","line1Based":2132},"recordId":"SYN-PUB-02132"},"sourceFileSha256":"25d8be510899a943cbed484ae7b7587ca81d538bbe736eff065e928b3b3c0019"},{"canonicalizationVersion":"node-stable-json-v1","datasetCommit":"4fb99b3749adf0d10b5977089ff4c73f4f522240","excerpt":"R0660","excerptSha256":"75b01c9864196c9dcda05784fd7470e09925ca8aca1e943ea14f23b1818d2c4c","id":"ev-42a95c85f827e4f97a43cc06eefdad3db1b6deb7422e336d0c778029f8fcc436","recordSha256":"7b9401208b6b1fc7ca86d383eb4fc8bb1ca661d065c7d5d63333e8ddf90334e0","source":{"derivedRecordId":false,"fieldPointer":"/authors/1/researcher_id","file":"data/publications.jsonl","locator":{"format":"jsonl","line1Based":2132},"recordId":"SYN-PUB-02132"},"sourceFileSha256":"25d8be510899a943cbed484ae7b7587ca81d538bbe736eff065e928b3b3c0019"},{"canonicalizationVersion":"node-stable-json-v1","datasetCommit":"4fb99b3749adf0d10b5977089ff4c73f4f522240","excerpt":"PCB layout guidelines for minimising common-source inductance in GaN half-bridge circuits: a parametric study","excerptSha256":"856b203a8ca51c4bac084ae025b8ec4eb952daf5ebf77633866323c856b67c33","id":"ev-a82f8887010036f4e2204ab72b5024a6cdd39fc76a8f3a93c7e7eb014dafc040","recordSha256":"add5212d71db989d02560bc0df05adaf030e153441f0d6cd12e6f827eeb85f3c","source":{"derivedRecordId":false,"fieldPointer":"/title","file":"data/publications.jsonl","locator":{"format":"jsonl","line1Based":7471},"recordId":"SYN-PUB-07471"},"sourceFileSha256":"25d8be510899a943cbed484ae7b7587ca81d538bbe736eff065e928b3b3c0019"},{"canonicalizationVersion":"node-stable-json-v1","datasetCommit":"4fb99b3749adf0d10b5977089ff4c73f4f522240","excerpt":"The project investigates gate-driver design constraints and switching-loss measurement methodology for enhancement-mode GaN HEMTs in hard-switched converters operating between 500 kHz and 2 MHz. A benchmark circuit, consisting of a 500 MHz single-ended clock distribution tree with three fanout nodes, was instantiated on 24 stack-up variants spanning dielectric thicknesses from 0.1 mm to 0.3 mm and copper weights of 0.5 oz and 1 oz. Each variant was simulated to obtain the radiated electric field at 3 m. Stack-ups with the signal layers closest to ground reference planes showed the lowest far-field peak, with a maximum suppression of 8.9 dB relative to the worst-performing arrangement. Dielectric thickness had a stronger influence than copper weight; halving the spacing between a signal layer and its reference plane reduced emissions by an average of 5.2 dB at the fifth harmonic. Simulation time per variant averaged 4.2 hours on a 16-core workstation. The results confirm that stack-up selection is an effective early-stage emission control tool that costs nothing in component budget.","excerptSha256":"1429b9891207cf06f8c2cd327a2aac7d43c86e477b4433698b48115f1062ec7f","id":"ev-8571975d45e1f48c70d3a79e58fd880f92aeca72bac3110872b96deb14296271","recordSha256":"477b1f3e5f67792f13db2761927d591ee967892a1ead91f2a9501679c1ec66a3","source":{"derivedRecordId":false,"fieldPointer":"/abstract","file":"data/publications.jsonl","locator":{"format":"jsonl","line1Based":2360},"recordId":"SYN-PUB-02360"},"sourceFileSha256":"25d8be510899a943cbed484ae7b7587ca81d538bbe736eff065e928b3b3c0019"},{"canonicalizationVersion":"node-stable-json-v1","datasetCommit":"4fb99b3749adf0d10b5977089ff4c73f4f522240","excerpt":"[\"stack-up\",\"FDTD\",\"radiated emissions\",\"signal layer\",\"parametric study\"]","excerptSha256":"6a7473ad6d6942765b57d799b0e205dcf0518e0ee0a37a4f72142e9df48d351c","id":"ev-1f9b1ef475b6c6c199a6281f9e67974d28f9930967c77ea80628516ffa29e08e","recordSha256":"477b1f3e5f67792f13db2761927d591ee967892a1ead91f2a9501679c1ec66a3","source":{"derivedRecordId":false,"fieldPointer":"/keywords","file":"data/publications.jsonl","locator":{"format":"jsonl","line1Based":2360},"recordId":"SYN-PUB-02360"},"sourceFileSha256":"25d8be510899a943cbed484ae7b7587ca81d538bbe736eff065e928b3b3c0019"},{"canonicalizationVersion":"node-stable-json-v1","datasetCommit":"4fb99b3749adf0d10b5977089ff4c73f4f522240","excerpt":"This book chapter reviews the surge protection requirements applicable to low-voltage photovoltaic systems in Serbia, Romania, Hungary, and North Macedonia, comparing provisions of IEC 61643-32:2017 (SPD selection and application at PV power systems), IEC 62305 (lightning protection), and the national grid connection codes of the four countries as in force in 2024. Differences are identified in three areas: the method for determining the required impulse current class of DC-side SPDs, the treatment of floating versus grounded DC systems, and the earthing resistance thresholds triggering mandatory installation of additional earth electrodes. The chapter includes a worked example for a 100 kWp ground-mounted plant at a site with a flash density of 1.8 km⁻² yr⁻¹, showing that the four national frameworks produce SPD selection outcomes ranging from type 1 to type 2 for the same installation. This work reports a 14-day passive measurement campaign conducted in Novi Sad using a calibrated wideband receiver covering 80–860 MHz at a resolution bandwidth of 100 kHz. Occupancy was defined by an energy detection threshold set 6 dB above the measured noise floor. Across the observation window, mean occupancy was 11.3%, with pronounced temporal clustering around broadcast television slots and GSM uplink intervals. Frequency-domain sparsity followed a Zipf-like distribution with exponent 0.81. Diurnal occupancy variance exceeded 40% in the FM radio sub-band but was below 8% for digital television multiplexes. The data set provides empirical support for sparse prior assumptions used in sub-Nyquist sensing architectures and is made available in anonymised form as a supplementary dataset. Practical implications for measurement matrix design are discussed.","excerptSha256":"c43e53b2dd06586ca53e4fe7c61df664071e34498df279e059732717b2f2d7bd","id":"ev-cc7156aee1117556df46dc1eeefcdbc88204bc3e19c30ae1a1615c49feee4bde","recordSha256":"401c377ae9129e605400428680aee761ff825c78b89f90bf13262f8e7fbe80e6","source":{"derivedRecordId":false,"fieldPointer":"/abstract","file":"data/publications.jsonl","locator":{"format":"jsonl","line1Based":2361},"recordId":"SYN-PUB-02361"},"sourceFileSha256":"25d8be510899a943cbed484ae7b7587ca81d538bbe736eff065e928b3b3c0019"},{"canonicalizationVersion":"node-stable-json-v1","datasetCommit":"4fb99b3749adf0d10b5977089ff4c73f4f522240","excerpt":"R0182","excerptSha256":"d972c9debc2b2c1fdec9b020ab7bedb302427b4904ffdbbcd2049e910c268d82","id":"ev-5cb54a5e5f8b30be52818570a5a3637c7016f608be6146d7169bff9ea5741acb","recordSha256":"401c377ae9129e605400428680aee761ff825c78b89f90bf13262f8e7fbe80e6","source":{"derivedRecordId":false,"fieldPointer":"/authors/3/researcher_id","file":"data/publications.jsonl","locator":{"format":"jsonl","line1Based":2361},"recordId":"SYN-PUB-02361"},"sourceFileSha256":"25d8be510899a943cbed484ae7b7587ca81d538bbe736eff065e928b3b3c0019"},{"canonicalizationVersion":"node-stable-json-v1","datasetCommit":"4fb99b3749adf0d10b5977089ff4c73f4f522240","excerpt":"Forty-eight zinc-oxide varistor discs rated 275 V rms, 6 kA (8/20 µs), were subjected to repetitive impulse stress to quantify degradation under conditions representative of indirect lightning exposure. Three stress protocols were used: 100 pulses at 1 kA, 50 pulses at 3 kA, and 20 pulses at 6 kA (all 8/20 µs). Varistor clamping voltage, leakage current at 0.9 times rated dc voltage, and thermal dissipation factor were measured before and after each protocol. Clamping voltage increased by 4–11% after 100 pulses at 1 kA and by 18–27% after 20 pulses at 6 kA. Leakage current increased by one order of magnitude in eight of sixteen specimens stressed at 6 kA, indicating incipient failure. Scanning electron microscopy of cross-sections revealed grain boundary degradation concentrated in a cylindrical core region. The results suggest that standard SPD replacement intervals based solely on visual inspection or power-frequency leakage tests are insufficient for sites with high indirect-lightning flash density above 2 flashes km⁻² yr⁻¹.","excerptSha256":"5f2363ce254113c4aff120c5bce3875cd90074c843f32482d1e5a68bed5dca76","id":"ev-1c3aabe1a789f9594ec06f6616325b1dfd6ef40a662a042e435a945095e3ee96","recordSha256":"7ab6f8998c231ff3ab1ca904b00fdcf7f95e27d7160e227678ca1e1a88e1e085","source":{"derivedRecordId":false,"fieldPointer":"/abstract","file":"data/publications.jsonl","locator":{"format":"jsonl","line1Based":2356},"recordId":"SYN-PUB-02356"},"sourceFileSha256":"25d8be510899a943cbed484ae7b7587ca81d538bbe736eff065e928b3b3c0019"},{"canonicalizationVersion":"node-stable-json-v1","datasetCommit":"4fb99b3749adf0d10b5977089ff4c73f4f522240","excerpt":"R0182","excerptSha256":"d972c9debc2b2c1fdec9b020ab7bedb302427b4904ffdbbcd2049e910c268d82","id":"ev-8e1ac16dd56cec25eaf5c3b50f2ab92e92ba0c8ce550ce059450ed3ae3969081","recordSha256":"7ab6f8998c231ff3ab1ca904b00fdcf7f95e27d7160e227678ca1e1a88e1e085","source":{"derivedRecordId":false,"fieldPointer":"/authors/2/researcher_id","file":"data/publications.jsonl","locator":{"format":"jsonl","line1Based":2356},"recordId":"SYN-PUB-02356"},"sourceFileSha256":"25d8be510899a943cbed484ae7b7587ca81d538bbe736eff065e928b3b3c0019"},{"canonicalizationVersion":"node-stable-json-v1","datasetCommit":"4fb99b3749adf0d10b5977089ff4c73f4f522240","excerpt":"[\"Power Engineering and Electrical Installations\",\"Lightning Protection and Electromagnetic Compatibility\",\"Photovoltaic Systems\",\"High-Voltage Engineering\"]","excerptSha256":"da65e8dac16bf07c9c837aba51b3d9c8518de5b8d718252b14bcd8dc8603ba5f","id":"ev-18637cad28d0fe000cfa50503da242d9448a0fc441217fbb210d389b6f9f15ce","recordSha256":"282a4c01ca00064ec105bfe39bb12338cdae0b67b243a685f40253e347360ed5","source":{"derivedRecordId":false,"fieldPointer":"/fields","file":"data/researchers.json","locator":{"format":"json","jsonPointer":"/researchers/181"},"recordId":"R0182"},"sourceFileSha256":"00de62344d92b6c41c8b67c7e39b1cd8db5553d4050f4c4e92df89ea172dde40"},{"canonicalizationVersion":"node-stable-json-v1","datasetCommit":"4fb99b3749adf0d10b5977089ff4c73f4f522240","excerpt":"R0182","excerptSha256":"d972c9debc2b2c1fdec9b020ab7bedb302427b4904ffdbbcd2049e910c268d82","id":"ev-b7508230f889d92511de9d766165a3db8a43fd69373e7477c217ac4804d84216","recordSha256":"282a4c01ca00064ec105bfe39bb12338cdae0b67b243a685f40253e347360ed5","source":{"derivedRecordId":false,"fieldPointer":"/id","file":"data/researchers.json","locator":{"format":"json","jsonPointer":"/researchers/181"},"recordId":"R0182"},"sourceFileSha256":"00de62344d92b6c41c8b67c7e39b1cd8db5553d4050f4c4e92df89ea172dde40"},{"canonicalizationVersion":"node-stable-json-v1","datasetCommit":"4fb99b3749adf0d10b5977089ff4c73f4f522240","excerpt":"A review of conducted surge protection requirements for low-voltage PV installations: comparison of IEC 61643-32, IEC 62305, and national grid codes in Southeast Europe","excerptSha256":"b1f2e710910001ba5b4e556f97dc6ccdbac95f060b0f04d7e3a4e0b5da78c4fe","id":"ev-70e780dff046aafddb2adb3b655951c3646f103daf305d8821b0adde499b0cb8","recordSha256":"72fdd69f0a5775ff623bb6a0944f4cae49b232814275b34f21fc316f46590c04","source":{"derivedRecordId":false,"fieldPointer":"/title","file":"data/publications.jsonl","locator":{"format":"jsonl","line1Based":2359},"recordId":"SYN-PUB-02359"},"sourceFileSha256":"25d8be510899a943cbed484ae7b7587ca81d538bbe736eff065e928b3b3c0019"},{"canonicalizationVersion":"node-stable-json-v1","datasetCommit":"4fb99b3749adf0d10b5977089ff4c73f4f522240","excerpt":"ADRIASURGE addresses the harmonisation of surge protection design practices for PV and small wind installations across the Serbia–Romania border region. Both models are embedded in a low-voltage network simulation and evaluated against LISN measurements over 150 kHz to 30 MHz. The behavioural approach reproduces measured emission profiles with an average RMS error of 3.1 dB but requires individual characterisation of each unit. The circuit-level model achieves 4.7 dB average error without unit-specific measurement but is sensitive to uncertainty in parasitic component values. A hybrid procedure combining measured impedance data with a simplified circuit skeleton reduces average error to 2.6 dB. The study covers 15 driver samples from four unnamed market sources. Implications for aggregated emission prediction when large numbers of LED luminaires are installed on a single feeder are discussed, with a Monte Carlo analysis of 50 to 500 simultaneous loads.","excerptSha256":"b1eca67e76d571591a8cdaf746eb3b7aa20de0320feae0de1c5ae3dd14d490cb","id":"ev-c800d42147c83dd2d022afeb38e22badef1c5e9ffcdd3c076d47c4fd2aa0e4e8","recordSha256":"6e6c60e9be381e500c9e9d2c070221f9a722ec724fb1b6cf069cfb77a55330ce","source":{"derivedRecordId":false,"fieldPointer":"/abstract","file":"data/publications.jsonl","locator":{"format":"jsonl","line1Based":2130},"recordId":"SYN-PUB-02130"},"sourceFileSha256":"25d8be510899a943cbed484ae7b7587ca81d538bbe736eff065e928b3b3c0019"},{"canonicalizationVersion":"node-stable-json-v1","datasetCommit":"4fb99b3749adf0d10b5977089ff4c73f4f522240","excerpt":"R0611","excerptSha256":"f19173f2024579c4329d3c33c8c70e0e889804519ad5dc4a8c688eef51ccd9b9","id":"ev-a8dc7c1994432cf2a702d5efb75e7bd5754603371de7200567195c695a2df3a8","recordSha256":"6e6c60e9be381e500c9e9d2c070221f9a722ec724fb1b6cf069cfb77a55330ce","source":{"derivedRecordId":false,"fieldPointer":"/authors/4/researcher_id","file":"data/publications.jsonl","locator":{"format":"jsonl","line1Based":2130},"recordId":"SYN-PUB-02130"},"sourceFileSha256":"25d8be510899a943cbed484ae7b7587ca81d538bbe736eff065e928b3b3c0019"},{"canonicalizationVersion":"node-stable-json-v1","datasetCommit":"4fb99b3749adf0d10b5977089ff4c73f4f522240","excerpt":"Switch-mode power supplies (SMPS) are tested for conducted emissions according to CISPR 32 using three commercially available line impedance stabilisation networks (LISNs) of nominally identical 50 Ω/50 µH topology but from different manufacturers. Tests are performed on five SMPS samples with rated power between 30 W and 250 W. Measured quasi-peak levels at the same SMPS unit differ by up to 7.2 dB across LISNs in the 150 kHz to 500 kHz band, exceeding the 3 dB reproducibility figure often cited in the literature. The observed discrepancies are traced to differences in the LISN high-frequency impedance characteristic, particularly a self-resonance near 1.4 MHz in one unit. An additional test campaign varies the mains source impedance from 0.05 Ω to 0.8 Ω at 50 Hz by inserting series inductors, demonstrating that SMPS peak emission levels shift by up to 5 dB due to changes in rectifier operating point. These findings have implications for compliance margins and for the interpretation of borderline-pass test results.","excerptSha256":"8d63e20396e51d52944324b34ff76d0799d88a2831193e94602f3595582080f0","id":"ev-eda726fcb6e0e5823f518bad077af7c7ab867cd8d1cec094ba5df36b29bcb0be","recordSha256":"0398b2e3495f2b0f8631dc7f88065557701495922a11cd6fb27a684ce6c4cf7b","source":{"derivedRecordId":false,"fieldPointer":"/abstract","file":"data/publications.jsonl","locator":{"format":"jsonl","line1Based":7004},"recordId":"SYN-PUB-07004"},"sourceFileSha256":"25d8be510899a943cbed484ae7b7587ca81d538bbe736eff065e928b3b3c0019"},{"canonicalizationVersion":"node-stable-json-v1","datasetCommit":"4fb99b3749adf0d10b5977089ff4c73f4f522240","excerpt":"R0611","excerptSha256":"f19173f2024579c4329d3c33c8c70e0e889804519ad5dc4a8c688eef51ccd9b9","id":"ev-fe7c5b4a9f2e4102119fab7e0ceaab52c371b79b682e7ee4143defa03e5d026c","recordSha256":"0398b2e3495f2b0f8631dc7f88065557701495922a11cd6fb27a684ce6c4cf7b","source":{"derivedRecordId":false,"fieldPointer":"/authors/2/researcher_id","file":"data/publications.jsonl","locator":{"format":"jsonl","line1Based":7004},"recordId":"SYN-PUB-07004"},"sourceFileSha256":"25d8be510899a943cbed484ae7b7587ca81d538bbe736eff065e928b3b3c0019"},{"canonicalizationVersion":"node-stable-json-v1","datasetCommit":"4fb99b3749adf0d10b5977089ff4c73f4f522240","excerpt":"Conducted emission test reproducibility for switch-mode power supplies: influence of LISN topology and mains impedance variation","excerptSha256":"2979a2b457b95d8d6172f188b0f92f08ab7fad32015066f7058fb2164eaa495b","id":"ev-99feff8216c29d9fee3399b41fb57dc8c3928d934375a5f36de8249fa8d1c576","recordSha256":"0398b2e3495f2b0f8631dc7f88065557701495922a11cd6fb27a684ce6c4cf7b","source":{"derivedRecordId":false,"fieldPointer":"/title","file":"data/publications.jsonl","locator":{"format":"jsonl","line1Based":7004},"recordId":"SYN-PUB-07004"},"sourceFileSha256":"25d8be510899a943cbed484ae7b7587ca81d538bbe736eff065e928b3b3c0019"},{"canonicalizationVersion":"node-stable-json-v1","datasetCommit":"4fb99b3749adf0d10b5977089ff4c73f4f522240","excerpt":"Three-phase low-voltage feeders serving residential parking areas with electric vehicle charging infrastructure are studied using a combination of laboratory measurements and network simulation. On-board chargers of 3.3 kW, 7.4 kW and 11 kW rated power are characterised individually on a LISN test bench, and their emission spectra exported as Norton equivalent sources. A three-phase feeder model of 60 m length is parameterised from field impedance measurements and loaded with up to 12 simultaneous charger connections distributed across phases. Phase-to-phase coupling via the neutral conductor and earth return path is analysed and shown to introduce cross-phase disturbance voltages up to 8 dB below the directly driven phase in the 150 kHz to 500 kHz band. Feeder impedance variation due to the connection of reactive compensation capacitors shifts dominant emission peaks by up to 40 kHz. Compliance margins relative to EN 61000-3-11 group emission limits shrink by 6 dB when six or more chargers of the same type operate simultaneously. Results are discussed in the context of planned charging hub deployments.","excerptSha256":"a8d3ad3009447059b8180b8d14a72591c88dca8cd783011128cf0461250fe588","id":"ev-6dcb173b3940bf9a486da3fb2dfb7f124817aa6d30e1a952894aa25a61d30c3e","recordSha256":"123c708d288f92dd4b4b38db5cdfc0194e857d589c785bc9ad5ca8602545edb1","source":{"derivedRecordId":false,"fieldPointer":"/abstract","file":"data/publications.jsonl","locator":{"format":"jsonl","line1Based":7008},"recordId":"SYN-PUB-07008"},"sourceFileSha256":"25d8be510899a943cbed484ae7b7587ca81d538bbe736eff065e928b3b3c0019"},{"canonicalizationVersion":"node-stable-json-v1","datasetCommit":"4fb99b3749adf0d10b5977089ff4c73f4f522240","excerpt":"R0611","excerptSha256":"f19173f2024579c4329d3c33c8c70e0e889804519ad5dc4a8c688eef51ccd9b9","id":"ev-dc47eff40dc3bbd923c401d45eb2c209135336ee6a2fe8c273e5ea27c08bec36","recordSha256":"123c708d288f92dd4b4b38db5cdfc0194e857d589c785bc9ad5ca8602545edb1","source":{"derivedRecordId":false,"fieldPointer":"/authors/4/researcher_id","file":"data/publications.jsonl","locator":{"format":"jsonl","line1Based":7008},"recordId":"SYN-PUB-07008"},"sourceFileSha256":"25d8be510899a943cbed484ae7b7587ca81d538bbe736eff065e928b3b3c0019"},{"canonicalizationVersion":"node-stable-json-v1","datasetCommit":"4fb99b3749adf0d10b5977089ff4c73f4f522240","excerpt":"Danijela Ninkov received her Dipl.Ing. and M.Sc. degrees in Electrical Engineering from the Faculty of Technical Sciences, University of Novi Sad, in 1998 and 2003 respectively, and her Ph.D. from the same institution in 2008. The network is represented by a ladder model with frequency-dependent line parameters derived from measurements on a 230 V, 50 Hz test feeder of approximately 120 m length. Rectifier loads ranging from 100 W to 2 kW are modelled as nonlinear voltage-dependent current sources parameterised from laboratory measurements. Simulated disturbance voltages at the mains terminal are compared against LISN-based measurements following CISPR 16-1-1 procedures over the 9 kHz to 30 MHz range. Agreement within 4 dB is achieved across the 150 kHz to 2 MHz sub-band, with larger deviations at higher frequencies attributed to parasitic capacitances not included in the ladder model. The study identifies the 450 kHz to 600 kHz interval as the most sensitive to load power level, with peak quasi-peak levels increasing by up to 11 dB when aggregate load increases from 500 W to 2 kW. The results suggest that existing CISPR limits may be approached under dense residential loading conditions.","excerptSha256":"f032b2975827ea21335b70e38004247854fffdccb5473cc9622e3050087f34a1","id":"ev-0857cd529189f5a41de4a56766381cf314f50070619a608aeebc3237ce58aa9a","recordSha256":"ef37d041dcc7bdb2f8db75c928a14f0217012190f4cfb08de21a19306a5e6537","source":{"derivedRecordId":false,"fieldPointer":"/abstract","file":"data/publications.jsonl","locator":{"format":"jsonl","line1Based":7001},"recordId":"SYN-PUB-07001"},"sourceFileSha256":"25d8be510899a943cbed484ae7b7587ca81d538bbe736eff065e928b3b3c0019"},{"canonicalizationVersion":"node-stable-json-v1","datasetCommit":"4fb99b3749adf0d10b5977089ff4c73f4f522240","excerpt":"R0611","excerptSha256":"f19173f2024579c4329d3c33c8c70e0e889804519ad5dc4a8c688eef51ccd9b9","id":"ev-338bddc7329b8520fda2609651b65157daa181b965290723098f27ff23a50897","recordSha256":"ef37d041dcc7bdb2f8db75c928a14f0217012190f4cfb08de21a19306a5e6537","source":{"derivedRecordId":false,"fieldPointer":"/authors/2/researcher_id","file":"data/publications.jsonl","locator":{"format":"jsonl","line1Based":7001},"recordId":"SYN-PUB-07001"},"sourceFileSha256":"25d8be510899a943cbed484ae7b7587ca81d538bbe736eff065e928b3b3c0019"},{"canonicalizationVersion":"node-stable-json-v1","datasetCommit":"4fb99b3749adf0d10b5977089ff4c73f4f522240","excerpt":"R0611","excerptSha256":"f19173f2024579c4329d3c33c8c70e0e889804519ad5dc4a8c688eef51ccd9b9","id":"ev-d52e24c4f09c60a92baec254429191133bb1bd85d7be54d8c940ebad7da46e48","recordSha256":"c28f1d8389ff3da2ca408a6a02726723f3ed0f1117fbb811b76cc88cde2badb6","source":{"derivedRecordId":false,"fieldPointer":"/authors/2/researcher_id","file":"data/publications.jsonl","locator":{"format":"jsonl","line1Based":1514},"recordId":"SYN-PUB-01514"},"sourceFileSha256":"25d8be510899a943cbed484ae7b7587ca81d538bbe736eff065e928b3b3c0019"},{"canonicalizationVersion":"node-stable-json-v1","datasetCommit":"4fb99b3749adf0d10b5977089ff4c73f4f522240","excerpt":"[\"conducted emissions\",\"time-domain simulation\",\"single-phase rectifier\",\"LISN\",\"low-voltage network\"]","excerptSha256":"8bd93b26102664e1e5dfdbcec15a8f91262bf27d2a912f899836dc2825199e9a","id":"ev-7a6d56eb46cf5f23312f14ea831631b3ec45bcdc611388c75eb489b492fa935f","recordSha256":"ef37d041dcc7bdb2f8db75c928a14f0217012190f4cfb08de21a19306a5e6537","source":{"derivedRecordId":false,"fieldPointer":"/keywords","file":"data/publications.jsonl","locator":{"format":"jsonl","line1Based":7001},"recordId":"SYN-PUB-07001"},"sourceFileSha256":"25d8be510899a943cbed484ae7b7587ca81d538bbe736eff065e928b3b3c0019"},{"canonicalizationVersion":"node-stable-json-v1","datasetCommit":"4fb99b3749adf0d10b5977089ff4c73f4f522240","excerpt":"Ripple control systems operating at 316.7 Hz and 750 Hz are widely used by distribution system operators in central Europe for remote load switching. This study investigates the extent to which supraharmonic emissions from switch-mode loads corrupt ripple control telegram reception in a 400 V test feeder modelled from parameters measured in a suburban distribution area near Novi Sad. A full time-domain model is built in MATLAB/Simulink incorporating a ripple control transmitter, feeder impedance, and four classes of switching loads: SMPS, LED drivers, PV micro-inverters, and EV on-board chargers. At 15% feeder loading with mixed loads, signal-to-interference ratio at the receiver input drops below the 20 dB design threshold assumed in EN 61000-5-1 for ripple control. Worst-case degradation of 28 dB is observed when multiple PV micro-inverters synchronise their switching near the ripple control frequency. Temporal correlation between load power cycles and interference bursts is demonstrated. The model is validated against a 4-hour measurement record from the test feeder with 4.5% mean absolute error in receiver input voltage.","excerptSha256":"a83192ed04141e5ee7f19d444378763806034f910fa8b2f23df139b72106b1c9","id":"ev-38df14fed7e8d7f0f52d76ec0d967a8ad97c29e7f66e84b3ecdfe888ea42418f","recordSha256":"03c0f13aa4fb4c41ea0d5c18a14b07d2dbaa0f6cdcae0770e78d47e871f4654b","source":{"derivedRecordId":false,"fieldPointer":"/abstract","file":"data/publications.jsonl","locator":{"format":"jsonl","line1Based":7005},"recordId":"SYN-PUB-07005"},"sourceFileSha256":"25d8be510899a943cbed484ae7b7587ca81d538bbe736eff065e928b3b3c0019"},{"canonicalizationVersion":"node-stable-json-v1","datasetCommit":"4fb99b3749adf0d10b5977089ff4c73f4f522240","excerpt":"R0611","excerptSha256":"f19173f2024579c4329d3c33c8c70e0e889804519ad5dc4a8c688eef51ccd9b9","id":"ev-89bb71b814b591fe553a7108081912dc21acf6714d835cd79fd47f7ddb5f2612","recordSha256":"03c0f13aa4fb4c41ea0d5c18a14b07d2dbaa0f6cdcae0770e78d47e871f4654b","source":{"derivedRecordId":false,"fieldPointer":"/authors/3/researcher_id","file":"data/publications.jsonl","locator":{"format":"jsonl","line1Based":7005},"recordId":"SYN-PUB-07005"},"sourceFileSha256":"25d8be510899a943cbed484ae7b7587ca81d538bbe736eff065e928b3b3c0019"},{"canonicalizationVersion":"node-stable-json-v1","datasetCommit":"4fb99b3749adf0d10b5977089ff4c73f4f522240","excerpt":"This book chapter provides a systematic treatment of EMC problems specific to low-voltage distribution systems, intended for practising engineers and postgraduate students. The presentation proceeds from the physical mechanisms of conducted disturbance generation in power electronic equipment through to network propagation, coupling to sensitive loads, and measurement practice. The regulatory framework covering CISPR 11, CISPR 32, IEC 61000-3-2, IEC 61000-3-12 and EN 50160 is described with attention to applicability conditions and current revision status as of 2020. Frequency-domain and time-domain modelling approaches are compared for three representative scenarios: aggregated residential loading, industrial bus with variable-speed drives, and mixed-use low-voltage feeders with embedded generation. Common measurement pitfalls including grounding, LISN placement, and ambient noise subtraction are discussed with illustrative examples drawn from the authors' laboratory experience. The chapter concludes with an outline of open research questions including the standardisation of supraharmonic measurement methods and probabilistic compliance assessment.","excerptSha256":"9027f18834a290bed5c793918cb1df5884a78e0ed35bc965fec05d7e01b04726","id":"ev-490b777d02ff05632f4534c340b48f38387b7c8eddc5dd24e4c96f1cdebc553b","recordSha256":"e0333f973492488f5749461b43141fe5cafe265fa226dfb1ec3c248e686ddc07","source":{"derivedRecordId":false,"fieldPointer":"/abstract","file":"data/publications.jsonl","locator":{"format":"jsonl","line1Based":7007},"recordId":"SYN-PUB-07007"},"sourceFileSha256":"25d8be510899a943cbed484ae7b7587ca81d538bbe736eff065e928b3b3c0019"},{"canonicalizationVersion":"node-stable-json-v1","datasetCommit":"4fb99b3749adf0d10b5977089ff4c73f4f522240","excerpt":"R0611","excerptSha256":"f19173f2024579c4329d3c33c8c70e0e889804519ad5dc4a8c688eef51ccd9b9","id":"ev-d8a0956b5b5b50033b5600c60002a2692fdce80328464f57391bf071414b64a1","recordSha256":"e0333f973492488f5749461b43141fe5cafe265fa226dfb1ec3c248e686ddc07","source":{"derivedRecordId":false,"fieldPointer":"/authors/2/researcher_id","file":"data/publications.jsonl","locator":{"format":"jsonl","line1Based":7007},"recordId":"SYN-PUB-07007"},"sourceFileSha256":"25d8be510899a943cbed484ae7b7587ca81d538bbe736eff065e928b3b3c0019"},{"canonicalizationVersion":"node-stable-json-v1","datasetCommit":"4fb99b3749adf0d10b5977089ff4c73f4f522240","excerpt":"Prefers projects with a clear measurement component rather than purely theoretical work.
